It is an open day for a charitable trust for which I work, you do not have to pay, all you have to do is to turn up on the day and show your car off, everybody is welcome, it is like an old fashioned garden fete. It is situated about 4 miles from East Norton, Leicestershire, which is on the A47 about 5 miles from Uppingham. Others can come, originally it was limited to 7 but that may change. Further to the above, still no further information on what is going on, the authorities are taking their time in sorting things out. Have spoken to his solicitor and at last they have got some paperwork, but I do not know what is in the dossier. Have spoken to Jay today, he is pretty well considering, but is getting a bit stressed as he is only receiving letters from Charli and myself, I know you are all busy, but if you could find a space in there somewhere just to drop him a line, it would be appreciated. There was a thread put up at the end of March concerning the Jap Show, and only 3 people put their names down to attend. Therefore it was not financially viable to book a stand, that decision was made on the 15th May Regards Dave

Thanks for your comments, decision made that there will be NO official Midlands meet for July, as once again there are plenty of meets on and as Daves Zed rightly so, majority if events are in the Midlands area. So next meet will probably be in August, hope to see some of you at the events and I know will see several at Ashby next Tuesday

Am looking at July at the moment, members thoughts would be appreciated on this. I don't want to arrange a meet and only one or two people turn up, the attendance at the last few meets has been tremendous and I want to keep uo that standard. By the way, there is a meet on Friday 8th at The White Horse Inn, Empingham, Rutland at around 7.30pm, this has been arranged by the JapGirls and initially was a arranged to meet up with Jay (Z EVo Guy), but due to circumstance which people are aware off, he won't be there, but the meet is going ahead as a gesture of support for Jay, Charlie and myself through this period of uncertaintany for the three of us. Yep, I would like to endorse everything that has been said regarding yesterday. It was a great day out, but tinged with regret that Jay was not able to there with us, but as he said to me today when I visited him, s**t happens, he would like to thanks everyone for their good wishes. I do have a favour to ask, I stupidly forget my stills camera, so was not able to take any decent photos that I could send in to Jay, especially of the parade lap. Hi All Having spoken to several of the Midlands Members over the past couple of weeks, they were of the opinion that, with all whats is going on on the meet side of things i.e. Jap Tuning Show at Silverstone yesterday, Jap Show at the Pod coming up shortly and the Thoresby Show at the beginning of next moth, the calender was beginning to a look a litte crowded, and trying to set a date for a meeting in June would be virtually impossible, which could also affect the amount of people attending. Therefore, bearing in mind the views of the members, there will be no official Midlands Meet for June. Will keep July under review and see how that pans out. Regards Dave

Just a quick update, had a letter from Jay yesterday and he is coping ok depsite the circumstances. He still doesn't know why he has been recalled, which is bugging him a lot. Charli and myself have got a visiting order and we are going to see him on Monday afternoon, if you have any messages you would like us to pass on, please let us know and we will tell him. I can't say this enough, the support that you guys and gals have been giving me, Charli and Jay is tremendouse and from the bottom of our hearts we thank you, it is keeping us going, knowing that we have so many friend out there that care.
