  1. Well this one just came up! http://cars.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/nissan-300zx-380bhp/10108708?offset=1 Not sure about the bodykit but it looks like a really good car for that price.
  2. Must check my boss, it's from an R32 GTR so not entirely sure if it'll fit.
  3. As above, what kind do I need to fit an aftermarket steering wheel?
  4. Windows isn't very flexible when it comes to formatting disk drives. If you're brave enough, what I would do is boot a Linux live CD just for the partition step, wipe it and create a filesystem that Windows can use (NTFS I presume). Then again it depends how exactly it's "locked".
  5. Join us at Japfest ;) And happy birthday!
  6. Great car, but aren't you going to complain about the wheels? :)
  7. I think a lot of it comes down to rarity. The Z32 is unique enough in its own right now, without needing to be customised. For instance, I wouldn't think of putting a Veilside bodykit on a 300ZX, but there's an RX8 for sale over here with one and I quite like the look of it.
  8. Any news on this?
  9. That would be nice - it's a bit of a stretch to reach the head unit. Then again, I usually leave it off and listen to the engine :D
  10. What's that inside the armrest?
  11. I think the neighbours would complain if we got another car at this stage as it's getting a bit silly! Thanks for the sympathy though
  12. Yep it's scandalous. If I had been more realistic and bought an RX8 I could save nearly €2,500 yearly on tax and insurance, but unfortunately I just love the Z32 too much! Even though it has slightly less power than the Z and is much worse in terms of pollution. Go figure.
  13. Probably around €800. Not really worth it!
  14. Still nothing cheaper, including trade. The "driving other cars" is only third-party cover, but I can't retain it anyway because apparently AXA bought out my policy in April and nobody told me! I'm resigned to the cost but it's so frustrating that my only option to insure this car means I can't drive any other vehicle. Hope it doesn't snow this year.
  15. I'm noticing a slight buzzing noise from my NA fuel pump on the last few journeys, a lot like what you would get when a boot-mounted CD changer is loading a disc. It's audible on startup and at idle when active, but quiet enough that the engine drowns it out at any active level of revs. What level of noise is normal?
  16. Nice, look forward to seeing it! I fear that by the time I too can afford to have multiple zeds they'll be far out of my price range >_
  17. I saw an S14 for sale recently with factory roof racks, but this is just silly.
  18. Since yesterday gearbox oil has been changed, fully washed and waxed, new gear knob and diff oil ordered. Wish I could thank the former owner of this car for the care they've clearly given it!
  19. Not before me though :p
  20. It's more noticeable when those are gone! http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?181686-Fog-light-lens-passenger-side
  21. Site looks to be working now. Hope to order mine this week.
  22. It looks as though they aren't originally covered - https://conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=2641
  23. More suited to something like an E-Type I think.
  24. 06/08/2015 - 1997 Z32 (slicktop) Terrible choice of steering wheel for the car!
  25. Just thought of another thing - the owner of the silver SWB TT you mentioned spotting at Mondello told me he was considering selling it, but I don't have a name or any contact details!
