  1. Best of luck! Do you expect to have it on the road after this or is there more work first?
  2. Another one up north, with a ridiculous spoiler https://www.gumtree.com/p/nissan/nissan-300zx-3.0-twin-turbo/1129308498
  3. One usual indication, is there a service sticker on the cam belt cover?
  4. 20/08/2015 - 1999 GZ32 version R
  5. They do occasionally come up for sale. I haven't seen one quite that low, but there's been a couple at auction (Japan) with less than 6,000 KM. This includes a 1989 TT with only 5,200 KM that I could've had for under €10,000! Not usually that cheap, of course.
  6. It is red but not illuminated. I don't think any are originally.
  7. Cheap car, might be useful to someone http://www.adverts.ie/car/nissan/300-zx/1990-jdm-nisssn-300zx-twin-turbo/8679084
  8. Thinking about one, do you have any pics and a price?
  9. "selling due to my wife deciding that she needs her fist car since passing her test in the 90's. God help us all!" Heh.
  10. Under sealing isn't so expensive if you do it yourself, but it doesn't look like a pleasant job.
  11. Some more good news, father renewed his policy (back on his shed, not my Z) and got me named for €150. Same insurer wants €2,000 to name me on my girlfriend's policy.
  12. Hope to see some pics if anyone made it!
  13. Today was very satisfying. New gear knob fitted, didn't glue it to the boot as it could do with a new one in light of the new knob. Timing belt inspected - looks good. Documentation suggests the car had its 100k service some time after 2011, but I might give it another next year to be safe. Thoroughly washed and waxed, then tucked into its new cover! Halfords Advanced (Large) is a very tight fit on a LWB with spoiler.
  14. Low on petrol though and jobs to do :turned:
  15. I read somewhere that NGK PFR6G-11 were recommended, no?
  16. Would've came out if I had known it was on :(
  17. I wouldn't stick a tint on any of my front windows, but I don't understand the logic. They don't have any regulation on the tint of the driver's sunglasses!
  18. Are you required to replace them? We'll get an advisory too if the rubber is weakened due to age, but they can't fail the car for it.
  19. I like the wing-mounted mirrors, but most seem to replace them.
  20. Something for inspiration: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?180629-UK-260z-M1-Dublin-Airport
  21. I wouldn't say entirely "safe" - they did try some new ideas like a digital dash (optional I think).
