Yeah I'll be looking to have a decent security system fitted first off, then get it wax oiled, so if you have any recommendations for those or also for insurance that'd be helpful :) Mechanically I should be alright!

That's exactly what I went for, and probably paid at least as much as you did. Having the car already in the country would've saved a lot of time and hassle, which will put a lot of people off, so you'll have that going for you.
