Hi just removed mine!! quite easy more so than the front. 1st remove all trim in the boot area and then you will find about a dozen 10mm nuts this holds on most of the rear bumber, there are 2 each side inside the boot holding up the corners/returns of the bumper,then you will find 1 each side under the wheel arch [outside] area b careful these may be corroded and may sheer under pressure make sure all rear no plates etc are remove/disconected then you will find about ½ dozen olastic nuts/bolts underneath the car, i could not release these so got a small chisel and chopped them off [will use prober ones when i refit!!] and thats it. Took me about 25 mins "all the best" cherrs Dave :D :D :D

I think it is engine/gearbox mounts anybody had to replace these and what ones to l :) :) k at 1st cheers Dave ps just got short shifter from luke are they easy to fit !

strange but true i have just got my car out of hibernation [oct 02] and found that it vibrates through the car on a nice flat road, The feeling is just like running over white line or rumble type lines? is this due to propshaft? and if so what is the best way to go and were can i get done locally if poss. Well i have always wanted a uk man zed yello perfered, i ended up looking for 15 months! with no luck so bought a red uk auto!! i have had the car for a year with no probs [put her away end oct for the winter] A few weeks back i purchased a uk man [black] and iam in a bit of a dilemma. You see my auto is a lovely drive and i am quite hooked on this auto!!!! the man is quite tatty and i have had a very good price to get her painted yello. Advertised the auto and all i have had are young wannabes f1 drivers to see it so i put this thread to the vote should i keep my auto which is very tidy and needs no further work or sell her and get the man sorted!!!!!!!! help need a push in the right direction cheers Dave :confused:

Is this common or what i have 2 zeds and both tapping like a demented wood pecker, but on my auto it stops after few sec but the manual just goes on and on. I been told that they have hydrolic lifters [24 of em] and can be a nightmare to pin point. Is this correct or should i look @ a different angle. cheers Dave

Hi all i posted a problem on the old forum about 12 months ago about high tickover speed and can remember some thing about the T.P.S i think that was it!!! it worked on my last z but doesnt appear to on this one [wriggling wires etc] is there other things i need to look for?. cheers Dave

Paul Bailey apparently are no more [only a rumour] i live in Bristol and just brought a second z and the guy who i got it from had it for 3 yrs and always used wessex nissan main agents in bristol and looking at his bills are quite thorough [lots of em] i have not had the personal pleasure of the service dept but parts dept seem to know there way around the z cheers Dave

Hi Doc_cock! i have a uk tt for sale only prob is its an auto!! just brought uk manual and she is now for sale flame red full leather very good cond recent engine,turbos and box 147, 000 new engine etc @ 98,000 lots of history good number plate [so ive been told] email if interested as i said the car is an auto and i have only had for a year and had/have no reason to sell only the fact i got the manual by default!! just put 1400 quids worth of 18s on her that unfortunatly i am keeping cheers Dave

Hi Cullyz when i wanted to do this i was told to go to online manual and find page bf-30 that was last year, the forum has changed a bit since then! so dont no if this is still there!!. Why dont you give Luke @ the z centre a call he sells the 300 workshop manual on cd for a tenner ,i got one and its brilliant. He also sells the fibreglass copy of standard which i have and this flaky paint problem is eliminated cheers Dave ps be prepared for rust!!!!!!!:D

Hi all just brought another z this time a uk manual [phase2] only had since weekend and on the way to work this morning i popped into a shop and when a got back into the car i noticed the HICAS light wouldnt go out, when i tried to reverse out of the space i relised i had no power steering! and there was a large pool of fluid underneath!! can any one help. I opened the bonnet and noticed a lot of fluid around top of reservoir but coudnt see any loose pipes. cheers Dave
