My thoughts exactly. You say the odometer reads in Km which would point to it being a jap import. The japs had the option of having their cars castrated (turbo's taken away) at the factory.

out of interest how do you know it was a turbo in the first place? £1300 seems cheap in my opinion, and with Z's you get what you pay for.
