mind you the main news (ITN etc) is just as bad. It really gets my goat when they start reporting "groundbreaking news" that some country that nobody's ever heard of let alone gives a toss about has suffered a major daffodil famine*. Thing's that happen abroad that MAY have an impact on our lives I can understand, but totally unrelated, pointless drivel IS NOT NEWS. *this may or may not be a real news story, but you get the idea.

The local news really pisses me off too. Accordin to south today it news when some kid has to go to a different school to the one his parents want him to. HOW THE **** IS THAT NEWS AND WHY SHOULD ANYONE EXCEPT HIS PARENTS GIVE A SH!T?!?!?!
