probably one of the small hose clamps leaking, i tightenend all mine up while i had the plenum off to saved messing about later on trying to get to them

Yep, that's the one. Had to remove the complete plenum so took the time to remove the stupid metal pipe at the back and replace it with a bypass pipe from the rocker cover to the catch can. Problem solved now :) Unfortunately it meant i missed ashby folville :(

Well just managed to sort my car out after this little incident on the way to santa pod today :( I'll be along next week, think i might need to get the plugs out and give them a bit of a refurb though, i thought i'd got engine knock so didn't dare drive it any further. Got back to find the bloody injector plug had come off but it was raining so hard i checked the coil packs and had to give up. 2nd round - failure :(
