  19. Just had Virgin 50meg broadband installed, very very impressed so far. Speedtest.net reported 38meg speeds last night in peak times and i managed to download a 1000 meg (1 gig) file in under 5 minutes at 5 meg a second(!) A very friendly chap came to install it at 11am yesterday morning and when he got here he went "ah you don't actually have a box on your house or a line from the road, they should have been here for me to install to" My heart sank but then he said, no problem i'll get the rest of the install done, get a box on your house and we'll try and get a second engineer out tonight to run the cable down to the exchange tonight. 5.30pm in the sark a guy came out against the odds and installed the line, everything went straight on and i'm immensly happy! :hyper: Now the problem i have is that the websites are too slow for my internet connection  Thumbs up for Virgin Media for pulling it out the bag on the day they said it'd be done and very pleased with the speed i'm getting. Highly recommended: 5 out of 5! :D
  20. It is great, made me laugh :D "Momma......momma??...MOMMAAAAAA!!!!"

  22. Oh blimey, hope he's alright. Pass on my thoughts. Get well soon buddy
  23. Truly gutted to hear this mate, 13 years is a long time but if it's any consellation (and i know it's nowhere near being in the same league) my fiance disappeared on me back in march a week before she was supposed to move in with me. Ignored my phone calls, etc then i found out she'd been living with another man for the time i'd been with her etc, it's left me totally devastated and i haven't wanted to get involved with anyone since then. BUT it's given me alot of time to clear my head and do the things i needed to do that i never got round to when i was with her, i spend more time with my friends and family now, i get out and do more with the extra money i have for myself and the break of being in a relationship has done me good in some ways. The V8 is almost complete and i've got all the shows next year to look forward too although she'll be there somewhere unfortunately. Don't worry mate, time is a healer and although it might not take a few weeks to get over it things will get better. We're all here for you if you want to chat :) Nick
