Had the same thing with my supra mk3, left it in a field with a cover over the top of it. A year later, hooked up a battery charger overnight, started on the key within a few rotations, no smoke, misfire, nothing. Awesome these jap cars :D

A pair of 6 x 9s will fit directly into the front doors if you take out the metal adapters. You'll need to mount them on the door cards directly to get the depth to sink them in but the ones i had had rather large magnets. I'll take some pics in the morning.

lol, not the best picture really, looks pretty standard from the pics but its running a 1275 gt engine, 1 3/4" carb, lcb high flow manifold, 2" straight through exhaust pipe, rear dtm box and stage one head. Inside, its got the original 60s smiths dials, piano black dash, blood red and black leather corbeaus and matching rear seats Wheels are off a vauxhall viva gb gt, they're running Falken 165/r12 rubber all round and grip to buggery :D ...and yes i know the lucas spotlamp is wonky on the drivers side :D
