Cheers matey, i'm just worried if i keep using it something major will go and i'll lose a shed load of money on it. I've lost my trust in the car, it maybe good for someone but i don't think it wants me owning it lol If i get chance i'll pop it down to yours for a look see but its going for definate I won't be a stranger, i'll have a jap car possibly an s14a but i'll still be around on here. did it last night as soon as i had the problem, came up with nothing at all idle went up to 2,000 rpm in neutral too Checked the TPS but no problems there either last night, nothing lodged in the throttle bodies

Gearbox decided to stick in 1st gear until i flick the hold button to get it to kick into the next gear and wouldn't go into overdrive. Just a bug in the box unfortunately, works fine today but it was the final straw after the week i'd had. Took me an hour to get back home instead of thirty mins. Plan is i'm going to take a couple of months puttin git back to stock, tidying up the arches and sills and giving it a bit of a makeover then put it up for private sale when the prices start to go back up again when the weather gets better

Nah i won't be leaving here, just had enough of this car. maybe one day i might buy another but i was stung for this one big time and it's put me off them totally. It's not a bad car just i can't warrent spending any more on it, it needs at least another 5k to get it to what i want. Realistically the engine is sound as a pound, the gearbox is fine although i think there's a sensor that needs replacing or cleaning that i can't find. Whoever gets her won't have much to do to get her up to spec but i've just lost interested after all of the setbacks

I've given it a number of chances and it always lets me down mate. last straw last night, took me 2 hours to get back from nottingham. Never again I was ripped off when i bought it and lost a damn good NA zed, i wont be buying another

I'm calling it a day with the zed, it let me down big time again last night. I won't be inflicting it on any of the members on here it'll be an ebay special as i wouldn't wish it on anyone else. I'll be putting it back to stock form, standard exhaust, air box and wheels etc. It's done 118,000KM (72,000Miles), it doesn't smoke when you're driving just a little on start up after a short trip the day before (which'll stop again when the stock exhausts go on) Its got leather seats, only faults are the rear windscreen element is knackered and the aircon belt is missing so aircon may or may not work. 12 months tax put on the other week and a few months MOT Paintwork is alright but it has a little rot here and there on the arches and sills. What do you think? About £2000-2500? Is it worth breaking it? Pete'll know what it's worth as a breaker. I'm buying this civic on saturday to get me by for the time being but ultimately the money i'd have to spend to get it sorted out would be about 5k to get all the paintwork/interior up to the standard i want it and to be honest i could by a TVR Cerbera for 8k or a BMW 850 Opinions please?

I watch the national games when its an important match but i'm not overly bothered, i don't know transfers, names, faces, what teams they've played for, i know what the offside rule is and that's about it. Nice one Stella :D

Excellent, really went very well. I know my mate already who'll be working there, i got on really with the team leader and the rest of the staff and basically he says the job is probably in the bag as i'm the only one to not come through an agency so they don't have to pay anyone to employ me :D I'll be having a formal interview next week and a quick test then i'd be starting in a couple of weeks :D PLUS they don't mind me running my own business on the side, i'd be on about 40k including my own business :D Wahey! :D

Rang a mate up (i say mate, he was my ex business partner the cheating git) to ask him what he's still doing driving round my town when i thought he'd moved to Leicester and he said he was still working in Ashby. He also said they'd just advertised that day for a junior microsft sql developer at the place and did i fancy him getting me an interview. I said it might not pay enough for me to be interested giving up my business but i'd come in at least and have a chat with them. So randomly yesterday he rang me up saying i had to go in at 10am today for an interview, completely unprepared to meet them and my cv isn't up to date dammit. So bricking it a bit, plus i've now been told they may offer me the money i'm looking for to come and join them! So even more pressure :( The job would be ideal as its within walking distance of my house and i'd be on a reasonably silly amount of money to do it plus they'd train me to be a c sharp programmer. Ah well wish me luck folks!

i think it looks good buddy :D If it's yours and you're planning on selling you may make a little more selling the kit seperately etc. zed's are worth nowt at the moment but it's a load of hassle to ket it off again and not ruin the paint underneath
