  1. pmsl  good work buddy, nothing nicer than having a driveway full of clean shiny motors :D
  2. Can't believe anyone would treat a zed like that, these are special cars not old cavs :(
  3. That's off the supercar showdown dvd, i think ive got it but i can't remember that challenge! lol
  4. You'd only end up modding it mate
  5. I'm willing to give it a go purely for the money saving, it cost me £78 quid to fill the scorpio last night :(
  6.
  7. Happy birthday buddy! :D :duffer:
  8. Exactly, if i manage to make diesel for half price i'd be happy :) £35 quid a week would be awesome and make it well worth the hassle. I've read the guide and it does look pretty complex but i guess once you've done it a few times it would become second nature
  9. Awesome, cheers buddy thanks for that :) Potentially from what i've read if you use waste oil it costs you about 6p a litre including the chemicals so my petrol/diesel bill would go from £70 a week to £5 a week :hyper: Nick
  10. I know it tends to work better with older machines but i did read on a forum that one of the guys is running his d5 volvo on 20% cooking oil and it was working fine with no issues. I'm looking at buying a bio processor to keep in the garage and making friends with the local chippy when i move if i'm going ot have to do 100 miles return a day. If i can find somewhere that sells bio i'll try it first and see how i get on with it first then if it goes well i'll invest a few hundred in a processor and see how i go. I've seen cheapish ones for 300 quid but i'd rather spend a little bit more and get something that cleans the diesel properly so you don't end up with the build up that some people experience. I noticed that with the price, its definately not inflation on vege oil is it? Cheeky sods the government they really are
  11. lol, did you make it or buy it?
  12. Anybody do it on here at all? What have the results been like/what do you run etc
  13. I spotted a silver zed on the way into town, you won't have seen me though we were in a black audi a8 taxi at the time :D

  19. Cheers matey, i don't know anyone personally that's bought one but they all seem to have 100-150k on the clock and some past 220k! So my thoughts are they must be pretty good and the specs are tasty too, 54.3mpg extra urban, 43.5mpg combined and 168bhp and from what i've read the figures are pretty accurate on test
  20. Anyone had one? I'm looking at the S60 SE D5 2.4 Turbo, anyone had any experience in them?
  21. Awesome :D Well done matey, nice work! :hyper:
