just been to see The Dark Knight
She's Maggie Gyllenhaal, Jake's Sister (the lead actor in donnie darko?) She was a bit miss-cast in my opinion, she was much much better in secretary (what a great film that is), she's not really hollywood blockbuster material better in smaller kitch movies. Secretary come highly recommended :)

twin intake kit - other work needed?
Yeah, me and john dixon got close to getting mine working just by altering the k value of the ecu then tweaking the maps but unfortunately a loose intake pipe put an end to that and tbh it's rapid enough not to warrant all the extra work setting it up. On a TT however it would be worth having because of the amount of air needed to cope with the fuel being sucked in. When i get the new NA engine built if i decide to use my nitrous i'd probably go custom ecu and no mafs anyway

is this for real 920bhp on ebay
End of the day i think i speak for everyone on the forum when i say we respect the amount of money, thought and effort put into your car MAC. You're doing something that benefits all of us and gets us some recognition and I am always awestruck when someone is willing to invest this much money into a project and do it right instead of a half arsed attempt. Good luck with finishing the project buddy :D

Devastated!! - what do i do??
You're worrying me now, i'd better double check my policy when i get back and maybe give them a ring, i'm pretty sure its covered to pay out for the agreed value of the car but then again there's nothing in the paperwork to agree this. Sorry to hear all this buddy, it was a corking car and it'll be a bugger if they dont' pay out the full amount. Keep fighting them

just been to see The Dark Knight
I thought some bits they were trying to compete to see wh could make their voice go the lowest but i have to say, joker made an impact on me. Brilliant portrayal of the character, truly unhinged and funny but scary. The special effects on harvey dent were quite frankly amazing without giving too much away. I think the whole thing was great although it could have done with being about 30 mins shorter. I still love tim burton's batman and still think michael keaton fitted batman perfectly (the roger moore of the batmen :) ), comic book visuals, the dark styling in returns and the music made the film. I don't know, i still think begins/dark knight don't really feel like batman films to me, they're sort of like casino royale to the rest of the bond films. Too serious and not enough fun and action

Great result from the MOT
I'm well chuffed mate, i've been dreading this month :D My pc blew up saturday with supposedly a motherboard failure and then the car to worry about and i had a spark of genius and tried resetting the bios only to find the power supply blow clean out the back of the base unit! Tried a spare psu and it worked fine so bought a new one and the whole system is back up again :) Now this as well, so potentially saved myself a grand this month :hyper:
-
Great result from the MOT
So was i but the old girl suprised me yet again :) You know when your'e convinced something's wrong with the car and you notice every little rumble and creak? I was certain the front bushes had gone
-
Great result from the MOT
Popped it in this morning and it passed on everything apart from the seatbelts! Apparently no british kite mark on them so the harnesses have to go but apart from that was advised on the steering bush/windscreen crack and something else but the real shock was the emissions: 0.131% (3% max) and 114ppm (1200ppm max) when its smokes like a bitch and wreaks of petrol lol Happy bunny!:dance::dance: I'll sort the seatbelts this weekend then pop in for him to inspect and i'll pick up my test certificate, not bad value at £35 and done while you wait in 30 mins :)
