It's about this time of year we always lose at least one zed to slippery roads covered in mud, water, ice and anything else that's remotely slippy. So this year i'm taking it upon myself to say: These cars are a bugger in the wet so... ...STOP DRIVING LIKE A MUPPET... ...just wait till it gets drier and warmer! :tongue:

I found the TT to drive like a giant elastic band, no bottom end grunt and plenty top. The na is more useful for instant drive. I like the rasp tbh, especially in tunnels it sounds immense, alot louder too :D I guess i'm just an NA man, hence building an NA 6.3 Chevy V8 zed at the moment :rofl: lol

Mine's an NA, i've owned both and the NA is the better car in my opinion. Sounds better (no turbos blocking the sound), pulls better and although it's not a million miles off in economy it can be reasonable (i've had 36mpg at 65mph all the way to cornwall)

Hi mate, i live near leicester and i'm seeing diane in the next week so i could perhaps go early and take it all over for her? Failing that i do have a laptop i don't use very often she could borrow until she's back on her feet? I also have a ps2 that's not being used

I would really love to own one but i don't think i'm quite old enough yet lol Given it some serious thought though, especialy the xkr convertable in black with blood red leather :D

Driving since i was 17, 3 points for driving 39mph in a 30mph limit (they'd changed the speed limit from 40 but i hadn't seen the sign) in the mini when i was 21 but on to my forth zed now and still no points :hyper: I've never even been stopped apart from when i pulled over to answer the phone to say "phone me back in 30 mins" on the hard shoulder under a bridge and the police thought i was a bomber and did me for pulling over without just cause the buggers :(

I used to be able to get two kids in the back, my ex had two little lads and they were fine and i'm 6'4" but they were only 4-5 yrs old. Plus i used to take the lads to the pub in it too, it wasn't comfortable but we just about fitted with my knees up against the dash :D lol
