  1. I have a sagem hdtv which is brilliant and had no problems whatsoever and i use either hd dvd on the 360 or blueray through the pc on there and no issues. My sony sat nav on the other hand is constantly going wrong and i've had the same problem with every sony product i've owned
  2. I didn't realise you knew Dave. I heard through my other half today, I never met the poor guy but i'd heard of him through her. I've already passed on my respects via her but my thoughts go with you too buddy Nick
  3. I know what it is, had this myself. Have a check on each of the horns to check the wires haven't frayed and been earthing against the bodywork. I had a loose connection, reattached it, bound it with electrical tape and it never happened again
  4. I've got wilwoods fitted, much improved over the stock brakes. Nice and progressive and you hardly have to touch them to shake off the speed. Needless to say they'll be going on the V8 project very shortly
  5. 1 from my mum as she's always sent me for 28 year () but none from the other half and i won't even see her today by the looks of things, i hate valentines day :(
  6. Actually you're excited about it so i'm guessing you bought the 2.5 V6?
  7. lol, is it a saloon rather than a hatchback?
  8. lol, i can just see you popping out to tesco in that mate
  9. ...and paint all round the inside of the engine bay
  10. Always sad to hear a member is selling up but always nice to know the car is going to stay in the club :D Welcome to the club buddy :hyper:
  11. Just my two at the moment, neither driveable now
  12. A really lovely example of a stock car having seen it in the flesh. Very nice Jez :D
  13. Crap mate, sorry to hear that. Hope you manage to sort everything out in one way or another Nick
  14. These are the two intakes I have to choose from: Fuel pump: Starter motor:
  15. They're edelbrock performer rpm heads buddy, they've had uprated crower high lift springs fitted and titanium retainers. Yeah the carb is used but has basically sat in its box since the guy bought it and decided to go a different route. It doesn't smell of petrol so it must have been standing some time. I'm going to take it to someone with a rolling road who has experience tuning chevy engines and carbs with the jets in stock who can set it up properly. I do want to learn myself but i think i could probably save a huge amount of time letting someone in the know get the car just right. Yep the studs are the screw in type: ARP bolts hmmm, you mean these ones? :D
  16. Yep, that's exactly what i was planning on doing, the whole setup with the valves and controller will be about £400-500 but i think it'll be worth it down the drag track and the occasional "off road" use
  17. It looks like it's sold buddy, check the auction!
  18. I would have done but I had to do 2 divisional sites for exhausts uk anyway and the last system they made was very high quality. It's £1500 worth of exhaust for a couple of weekend's work so can't complain too much. All done in T304 grade stainless steel so should last longer than the bodyshell  I just thought i'd be frustrated if i didn't get to hear that lovely 6.3 breath properly at the pod but i'd also be frustrated if it didn't pass its mot or annoyed me on a long drive. Best of both worlds! I'm looking at the Quicktime Performance ones with the pipe already adapted and a tip mounted up. What make is yours?
  19. Good news, i've just agreed with Exhausts UK in sheffield to build the complete system 3" custom polished stainless manifolds with electronic cutouts before the boxes :D This thing is going to sound immense  Plus it means on the main road i can opt for a really quiet box for the back so it's not too intrusive on long distances then flick a switch and all hell breaks loose :hyper:
