  1. Not a chance, brilliant thread, keep it up.
  2. Lol, remember the episode, brilliant!
  3. Cheers I think it is the one then, as you say the paint work was stunning in the sun. I brought it from a gentleman who lived just outside Shrewsbury who had no legs, he operated the acelerator and brakes with his hands. There where some extensions bolted onto the pedals which then laid across his thighs, scared the life out of me when we went for a test drive!! I part exchanged it for a GTO about 3 or 4 years ago, headlights went and the sills and and the bottoms of the doors where starting to rot.
  4. Who's is the silver one on the right, J496 TVS?? I'm sure I owned that I few years ago. Cannot 100% remember the number plate though, old age!!
  5. Cheers mate hopefully we will bump into each other.
  6. Will do, can you explain how I put pictures on??
  7. Will do and many thanks for everybody's support and advice.
  8. At long last my car is now legally on the road!! Number plates now fitted, going for a blast up to Derby on Saturday then getting the new roof fitted.
  9. Lol, I tried the Norwich one back in October but as you say in the name of customer efficiency it has closed down!!
  10. Many thanks Gio, letter arrived today from Customs and Excise saying they are happy that no duty is outstanding on the car. So now got to send the paperwork back to the DVLA and hopefully everything will be sorted.
  11. Cheers Gio, I have got that lot, less the VAT 414, hopefully that will arrive sooner than later. Just annoying that I rung both the DVLA and the Customs and Excise people before sending the paperwork to try and ensure everything was in order. Hopefully the VAT form should arrive any day now.
  12. Cheers Gary, I will get some pictures up as soon as its on the road. Need to visit Sudesh and see if he will give me a go in his Lambo!!
  13. Cheers Gio, I might just hold you to that. Sudesh has been great, everytime I have needed something he has been straight there!!
  14. Cheers Gary, I will see what response I get next. Cannot believe the hoops you have to go through.
  15. Well my lovely convertable is still sat on the driveway waiting to be driven!! The car as some of you are aware was imported into Southern Ireland in 2009 then brought by a gentleman in Northern Ireland, the car though was never registered by either people. Well I thought no problem, I actually received the car from Northern Ireland on the 9 Sept 2013 and still have not manged to get it registered. Took it to my mates garage to get a rear fog light fitted and a couple of electrical problems sorted but no great issues and it then sailed through the MOT (my mate reckons the underneath is "like a show car"). It took the DVLA 4 weeks to send the registration paperwork to me, then 2 weeks to reject it as I needed some paperwork from Costums and Excise, Cutoms and Excise who where excellent I received the paperwork from them in 3 days. Sent the paperwork to them after spending 15mins talking to one of their staff on the phone to try and make sure I filled it out correctly, wrong they sent it back to me 3 weeks later saying they wanted more details. So rung them up and asked them to clarify what exactly they required, the person then said I had been sent the wrong form, wonderful!! So new form downloaded, completed and return to Custom and Excise, so now waiting for the next saga!!!
  16. The 4 wheel drive works pretty well in the snow. But don't push it to far, it will let go!
  17. Many thanks
  18. Lol, sorry Paul
  19. Hi mate i am in Norwich as well, what body shop you using??
  20. Many thanks and will do, car is going into the garage to get the new roof fitted and some other bits
  21. A bit harsh, but I know what you mean.
  22. GTO was not bad at all, unfortunately not the turbo, very similar to the 300 in many aspects but a little smaller inside the car. To be honest I like the 300 better and so does my wife. But I think if you like Japanese sports cars you have got to give it a go. I have also got a NA1 NSX which is a different kettle of fish.
  23. Many thanks, yes it is, not bad at all. It has a nice new roof to put on, should look very nice when done and the engine just purrs.
  24. Had a silver 300zx N/A a couple of years back, but exchanged it for a GTO. Have just brought a blue convertable which I am in the process of putting back on the road. Shame summer has just finished!!
