Why does anyone who has a zed insure it 3rd party only :smash: :smash: . These cars are expensive to repair and i personally wouldnt even consider anything less than fully comp just incase these sort of incidents accured to mine. Hope you can claim for the damages and the lady gets well n truly stuffed for her stupidity.gutted for yz bud,good luck with getting something sorted.

HI bud was good to meet a new face there. My timesb would of been better but clutch not in a good way before i went on track and almost killed it after the third run. Did manage a 13.5sec @ 102.7 though. Will be replacing clutch and doing a bit more work on it for next time so keep watchin, wont be long before i get it into the 12's.

I just cleaned mine and painted them with a couple of coats of engine dress up paint, not had any problems with em at all.

have changed the coil packs and the car is running like a dream. Has taken a lot of the elimination process but finally got there. Every day you learn something else about these cars,lol

Cleaned the connectors and no change although the wiring was a bit on the bad side :eek: . Have also redone the timing as that was waaayyy out. I have still got standard tubs as far as i know and have done the usuall first mods like: J Dixon chip K&N air filter stainless full exhaust Boost jets (waiting to put apexi on) From mount intercooler iridium hks plugs still got the detting problem tho under boost. Hope to get it fixed soon but if not will have tro be missing JAE this year :cry:

Has anyone removed the fuel purge tank???? The small pipe at the bottom of mine has corroded away and the pipe is now hanging loose at the bottom. Have had a look for where it goes once it enters the car body but cant see where it goes off too so am wondering if it can be safely removed and if it can is there a guide to doing it properly...

Engine dress up paint £6.99 from your local automotive shop. Used it on mine and have had no problems at all.

No cats on car, removed them when i changed exhaust. Will check and clean temp sender and see what happens. thanks.

Have tried all the above but still have the same problem :cry: Does the uk spec have to have the AIV's connected??? Am ready to tear my head off :rofl: please keep suggestions coming as want to get car right before JAE.

Have come across a problem. After changing the down pipes and middle section of exhaust and removing the AIV's the car wont boost correctly. Have had it on consult and it came up with a o2 sensor fault so have replaced that yet it still wont boost correctly. had the car running at 1.25bar and now it wont go past 0.9bar. When it gets there it just starts misfiring. Have changed the plugs, checked all the connectors, tried another PTU but wasnt that, doubnle checked the boost pipes against another zed and there correct. Anyone had this problem b4?? need some help please.

I have hks hypermax d's and they can be set from a lovely soft bounce to rock solid i now feel every bump on the road,lol havent tried other brands but would recomend these to anyone after noticing the difference myself. The handling on the car now is fantastic .

Have been informed today that the event organisers have cancelled the event as the ground is in a bad state after this weeks weather. A new date of 19th(I think :confused: ) August has been arranged.
