Thats becouse most of the zeds that did turn up i invited onto the banzaiclub stand as we were very well located right in the 1/8mile point at the side of the track. Things like santa pod show that do ave quite a few good meets a year for the jap car owner shud be on the list of major events every year becouse to be honest there is a lot more goin on there than you ever have at things like J.A.E. And it shudnt fall on the REO to arrange the large meet but on the event organisers as a whole. As for when people say that they jus either dont have the time or money to turn up, i appreiciate that doesnt help, but it seems that other clubs turn up by the dozens at a lot of the events. only 3years ago we had around 100 cars turn up to J.A.E. So ask yourself (mods) where were all them members last year at the meets????????or this year for that matter.

it might need more than just the head doin tho. bottom end may well be gone.

its already a manual bud. the autobox was off another zed that got broke for spares last year.

Ave been round local scrap yards today, checked pile of scrap after pile of scrap and found nothing. just ave to keep trying.

Thieving scums are at it again. Had taken my gearbox off while i get the engine ready to be taken out for repair, and some thieving b******s ave stolen it from out of the garden along with a Autobox (mine is a manual) and a gearbox for a astra turbo. Cant leave anything nowadays even wen its in ya own garden!!!!!!!!!!!!!argh So if anyone hears of anybody who has recently aquired some gearboxes for a zed please post it on here, especially if its coming from someone that otherwise would ave no reason to have 2 gearboxes wen they dont even have a zed. Its only gonna cost ya parts to repair. so its not a really expensive job to do in comparison to sendin it to a garage to be done. Wait a little while and let your head relax after the upset of it breaking then you'll know that keeping it is the only logical choice to make. If it was a standard car then breaking it would b a good choice but its got far too much money in it to jus give in on it.

Fix it n keep it. Too nice a car to let it go wen ya dont have to.

good coilovers are tien. A bit stiffer ride than some of the others that are available, but give a good response on the road. worth the money at that price too.

Nice to see J.A.E has found somewhere with a lot more facilities for the show. Personally i think its getting a bit far for us from up north. A show of this size really should be in a central location for all involved. I have been to the last 3 J.A.E. shows, since i bought my zed but think that this is now a little further than i'm prepared to go for a show. Hope you all enjoy yourselves and hope to catch up with you at some of the other meets.

be nice to see everyone just refuse to use there motors for 2 or 3 days in a row. business or private. when nothing gets done and no money passes at the fuel stations for 3 days then the goverment will listen cos it would cost the economy too much not to. I would be more than happy to do that.
