  1. cool stu, how much are they roughly, this is a project for the car to last only 3000 miles, car needs to be more driveable but reliable, and its on a budget :)
  2. not a joke, its not just about speed its about having a nicer engine for distance, with some thrashing, and a bit of power when needed, :)
  3. defiently won't be a strip car, but i want to weigh up my options of what engines will fit before i buy a new engine, its for a project :)
  4. has anyone done an engine swap on one of these? i'm trying to gauge option to transplant a new lump into one, something to give the thing more power,
  5. ok after ECU reset the problem has been sovled, i also cleaned out the aaic and my idle is nice and healthy again, I think there was a batch of dodgy fuel down here as kerri experienced fueling problems in her KA also.

  9. is baggins robbing that old man?
  10. This PM is being sent to all subscribed members of the 300zx.co.uk club The number of responses we are having regarding members without stickers has led us to have a rethink on the whole situation, The compilation of a new membership pack is currently underway and is 90% finished, we need to finalise the purchase of materials and compile together over 400 packs to ship out to members, as you can see this will be a lot of work and a major investment is being made by the club to give members something when they join that we can be proud off. Currently the membership pack contains the following welcome letter with membership number Stickers Membership card Club information Trader descriptions Club committee contacts sheet Upcoming events in the next 3 months Details on yearly events hosted by the club. Windscreen cards to let members introduce non members to the club, we are trying to do something special with membership cards, they will be presented on a lanyard in a perspex cover, this will give you the choice of how to use your card, you can hide it in your glove box, wear it around your neck at meets or remove the card from the perspex cover and display it on your dashboard. We are currently in discussion with a company who will print the club address on the lanyards. I will be overseeing the project with MTL, and we are aiming for a completion date within the next 4 weeks. Once complete we will dispatch the membership pack to all club members, this means we will be putting on hold the distribution of stickers as these will be sent out in the pack, any of you lucky enough to have stickers already will receive duplicates which you an do with as you wish. Again we apologise for the current distribution problems, it is unacceptable but we hope to put things right in the very near future.

yeah i had major problems with them when they mixed up orders, it actually took me hours to get through to sort out with them when their courier would pick it up, then they didn't send my bits out because they didn't have a record of their courier picking the bits up, they need a helpdesk not shitty phones that are always engaged, they sell a good selection of bits though

build it yourself, with good components, you end up with a system about the same price as off the shelf ones but with better branded internals.
  14. it's different here, we understand you are special,
  15. this is why we have a nelson smiley :nelson: :nelson:
  16. what the **** are you talking about? dave c isn't banned
  17. happy birthday chris, hope you get that wig you were praying for ;)
  18. I dunno, I think people make too much about lag, macs doesnt seem to have lag, and he has massive turbos, but his entire engine is built around big turbos, dunno seems a lot of people these days want to whack big turbos on stock engines and expect f1 performance, duffer showed us the problem with that lol
  19. depends where you got it from bud, it may be covered under the sellers warranty especially if it was an electrical fault, if it was new you should get a new one
  20. if you want a supercharged zed why not get a v8 and supercharge that, i guess that would be easier and more reliable :)
  21. or large sums of money into a car like macca and end up with a big powered driveable turbo car :D
