  2. Have a great day[emoji482]
  3. Are you going the OEM rubber bushes route, or polybushing?
  4. How did you guys refurb your targa strips?
  5. Ahh, got it. New for old....
  6. Don't want to use the word "cheaper", but I'm assuming this route is significantly more cost effective than just getting a complete balanced one outright? If so, by what percentage may I ask?
  7. Happy Birthday, Dude!
  8. Nope. Never been a follower of Apple products...all hype no substance. Android since the original G1!
  9. Damn phone! .....the best forum out there!
  10. Hi Jodofett, welcome to the best
  11. Got my girl a new bootlid and fibreglass spoiler from Mark to replace the rotten soggy sponge that was on there before. The bootlid even stays up on it's own now! Also found out I don't have a power steering hose leak after all....I just need a jap spec alternator belt as their smaller than the uk spec one I had bought.
  12. I saw the working pressure specs somewhere, can't remember where though....thinking of upping it significantly on remaking, hopefully will be a once only job for life of the car...
  13. Thanks Gary. 2 yrs on 300zx.co.uk. (daily) Still holding on to the zed. Learning and being entertained by the best forum out there!
  14. Yeah. Shoulder. Right. That must be it.
  15. Yep..and the better man won.
  16. Hope Mayweather knocks him out!
  17. Am I correct in that I saw a post here recently where someone said the high pressure hose can be rebuilt if i take the old one to a hose specialist engineer type place? If so, what specification hose would i require? If not, hey ho....I'll just buy a new one instead Secondly, I've started the Zed up for the first time since Nov/Dec, and heard a loud (ish) tapping from the drivers side of the head/block area until the oil warmed up on idle as i recharged the battery...should I be worried, or is there something else I should be checking during the annual fluids and filters change? Thanks.
  18. Probably that blue ebay job from Newcastle that was going for £2750......?
  19. I've no pressing need to go the manual route in the area I live. Traffic in London can be so slow so often that in my manual daily driver family car i hardly get my foot off the clutch before it's down again. Grand Touring and one arm cruising in comfort for me now! I'm lucky to be old enough to have driven in the days of no speed cameras and road humps. My RS Turbo / Opel Manta/ Capri days were fun when i had less responsibility, but my need now is form and function, with more than enough power for an occasional quick reminder of the old days. :thumbup1:
  20. Adjusting alt belts until they snap due to squealing is a symptom of a leaking power steering high pressure hose....got mine to do before I'm back on the road..
  21. Parked up in N16 around 11.00 this morning... looked clean with nice rims. Had the Mrs and her dad in the car, so could only take a quick reverse for a second look.
  22. Liking that ramp!! Zelda's suffering from "you've used a jack there didn't ya?" Syndrome....Your Zed is awesome btw.
  23. Very sad news indeed. Please pass on my condolences go the family. A Roobarb award sounds like a befitting remembrance.
