Nissan Mad

Hi everyone just having a small problem with my cig lighter, just been changing the rear wheel and plugged in the air compressor on the cig lighter to pump the spare one up and after about 5 mins the compressor has cut out, so checked it on the pulsar cig lighter and works fine but nothing works on the 300 cig lighter, the fuse is ok and ive changed it with a new one to make sure but still no power what else could have gone wrong. Is there another fuse somewhere. cheers Tom

ok cheers mate there was one on ebay a few months back exactly the same colour car but was all to pieces in a scrapyard by the looks of it, but I wanted the bonnet in black but eh bodyshop have quoted me a huge price to paint my GRP bonnet, so have found a black z with the bonnet already on :)

hey guys, looking at getting a second hand bonnet and tailgate already painted to fit my yellow z, just wanted to know do swb and lwb use the same bonnet and tailgate or is one bigger than the other? cheers Tom

voltage is the same on both sides, cleaned the inner lens with tissue which has made the light slightly clearer but whether it will pass mot, if not then ill try the gel packs, cheers lads

Well fitted new bulbs and the one is still dimmer than the other, does anyone have any ideas, I think the one lens is a bit misted up but cant get inside to clean it, any suggestions? maybe a second hand unit or something? cheers Tom

Ok so looked over the www and cant find any replacement low beam bulb, been to motormania and halfords and theyve never seen a bulb like it, its the one with 2 spades, does anyone know where to get one from otherwise ive got the part number and ill ring nissan tomorrow :bored: cheers Tom

perhaps theres an earth for each side of the engine bay just like on the pulsars????

swapped bulbs over and got same result will have a look tomorrow for the earth cheers

Hi guys just getting the Z ready for MOT, and one of the dip lights are dim, but the bulb looks fine, so thinking its the earth somewhere, does anyone know where the earth is as I cant seem to see it. cheers Tom

I had a green cotton air filter on my old sunny, tell you what the sunny sounded better and was a second quicker 0-60, goona try and fit the same filter to the 300 tonight

have you or anyone got a link for the k&n filter kit cheers

so would a single steel mesh filter be a better option?? I was looking at the one on z centre website

theres a buzzing noise coming from middle of the targa roof, took the panel off to find a buzzer?? what is it, whys it making a noise cheers Tom

im only 10 miles from shrews mate but im always in the R, depending on mot the z will be on the road in the next month and will be a regular at cineworld :thumbup1:

I dont mind if its not quick quick cos ive got my R's but would be nice to have as day out car, you know beach/long trip just hopeing when I get home theres not too much mechanical atm its looks all cosmetic!
