VX220Ts still go for £15k+ and it's a little more than a Chip to get it to 300bhp. Courtenay CS4 which takes it to just below 300bhp involves Software Upgrade, airbox modifications, full stainless steel Milltek exhaust system, bespoke Charge Cooler System, Hybrid Turbo charger with stronger cast manifold, uprated Actuator, Uprated Higher Flow Injectors, Rolling Road Tune, then you'll need a new clutch to take that extra power. The 2.2 can be had for under £10k. Could always go with the TB route on that one. Jenvy/QED/SBD are developing stuff for this engine at the moment. Infact one of my neighbours is doing some development work with QED as he's fitting a VX220 engine to is Lotus Europa.

You can get them for that much, but not the best in the world. Cheaper, not so tidy Lotus Carltons go for around the same cash, all though really good ones fetch double that still. You can't not like these.

£10k isn't a huge amount really for something decent AND interesting, so I'd probably still have a Z. But yeah, I do like the S15 Silvias. Although I think it wouldn't take much to write one of these off due to part obtainability. It's not like the Z where they actually sold them in the UK...S15s were never available in Europe.
