  1. Danny at DTA-Motorsport sells these. They are about £50 iirc.
  2. My main beam doesn't seem to work. Well it does, in the fact that when you flip the stalk, the light on the dashboard comes on and the relay cuts the dipped beam. But the main beam doesn't come on. Now it could be that both bulbs have blown, but just want to clarify that it couldn't be anything else that's gone AWOL before I order some high power bulbs from DTA.
  3. Hmmmmm, so we have conflicting reports. :(
  4. I live in Glastonbury.
  5. Post up photos of the shit!
  6. I'd stick with the 2.0 8v if I was to get one. The 8vs are cheaper and they are much easier to service and less bits to go wrong. Just as smooth as the X20XEV.
  7. Might be handing my company car back soon as I'll benefit more from an extra £350 in my pay packet than I will do having a new car. If all goes to plan, going to be looking at a number of cars. Probably a Vauxhall Calibra (8v)...late version. I know what you all think...Vauxhall rubbish. But the last production ones came with air con etc and the 8v engine can be maintained with a knife and fork....and I know Vauxhalls inside out. The 2.0 8v is a reliable a robust engine and parts are cheap. The other car I'm looking at, is an Audi Coupe (K/L/M reg...with aircon). I know practically nothing about them. I'd more than likely go for the 2.0 16v model as I'll have no use for the 2.6 V6. I'd prefer to have one of these anyway. Attractive car that can be had for absolute peanuts. Just want people's opinions on them. Those that have driven them/owned them/worked on them etc
  8. It is more than that if he has expensive headgaskets sat between them half compressed.
  9. That's one of the modified Audi TTs from I-Robot isn't it?
  10. Already had a warning bud. But I guess another one is good for precautionary sake. Not sure it would work on this forum as you need to subscribe?
  11. Narrr they are very nice. IMHO glad you're getting them back to their former glory. Really liked that car when I saw it at the meet. Very nice example. :duffer:
  12. Because there are so many with bits wrong and hanging bodywork. There seem to be more poor ones than good ones. But that's kinda getting less now...well, it seems to.
  13. There are certain things about the Z that I do prefer over the 850, but I love the pillarless design and the bulging arches.
  14. ^^^ if you squint, there's a strong hint of Z32 in the front of these.
  15. No worse than the bottom one... :hurl:
  16. One of these followed me off the motorway the other day and they look so menacing. Have that nice shark nose appearance to it like the glorious old 635CSi. These are two cars where BMW actually managed to make look stunning. Their new stuff though....I have little time for appearance-wise. I looked at buying an 840 before deciding on a Z. Was one of my top 3 choices. But all the ones that were in my price range were high mileage/tatty autos.
  17. They are. They fit them on everything including buses and caravans.
  18. I don't.....especially with an arse like that. :hurl: ;)
  19. Dream car is Lamborghini Gallardo. But hope to replace the Z in a few years with either a Honda NSX or a Ferrari 348
  20. I'd rather have this.... http://www.svaimports.com/details.php?ID=71
  21. Including taking out the engine, doors/tailgate/bonnet off? Christ. You've got a very good friend. ;) Candy blue IMHO. :)
