Thanks Steve. Managed to get hold of Open Office anyway now. :)- Rebuild finished, thank you Jimmer!
I understand AUP policy Athene, but on that basis, are Ztec going to be renewing their traders' subscription? Just wondering.... :)- Gearbox Whine
Might be worth having a look at getting a new one through Nissan. As silly as it may sound, if you get a 96onward TT GB, they are much better built with stronger bearings and better syncros. I think they retail for around £1,000 Gearbox reconditioning will cost £600 - £700 at least and as far as I know, there are some parts you can't get.- Can you spot
I could probably spot the garage mine's parked in!- Oh dear

You haven't emailed him have you Brian?- Rebuild finished, thank you Jimmer!
No I don't know those answers Paul which is WHY I ASKED! I am not trying to cause trouble because as I've said, I have not mentioned any names!!! I don't speak to Glenn on a regular basis either. Last time I spoke to him was a few weeks ago. I asked a perfectly legitimate an honourable question. Anyway, end of arguments. Don't want this to continue as it's no good for anyone. :)- Rebuild finished, thank you Jimmer!
YET AGAIN Paul you pick up on something I've said. I've not highlighting you or anyone you know, you're doing that. So take it up with someone else erh? All I asked if there was warranty cover on the original engine AND that there were a long list of deficiencies which there were regardless of who it WAS AND WASN'T done by.- Cold start question.
Right I see. Because my CTS is reading correctly and not over fueling at that point as 02 sensors are on closed loop, I'll be feeling a difference in performance. New 02 sensor time for sure then. Just need to isolate which one. Might get Datscan! LOL- Rebuild finished, thank you Jimmer!
Think there's a list as long as your arm!!- Cold start question.
CTS = Coolant temperature sensor. I have one O2 sensor that is reading out of range and thus over fueling. I find the car far more responsive and quicker on light acceleration when cold than I do when the engine is at temperature. So I am guessing this is totally the fault of the O2 sensor.- Rebuild finished, thank you Jimmer!
Was there any warranty/offer of recompense from those that fitted the last engine?- Rebuild finished, thank you Jimmer!
PS...it's PCV valves. ;)- Rebuild finished, thank you Jimmer!
  Excellent news Glenn! Glad you've got it back and can actually drive it now!! Shame you had to go through it all, but I am sure the car is better now than it's ever been. Agree, Jimmer takes pride in his work :)- Cold start question.
Bump- Cold start question.
Anyone? Mr Dixon?- Powerpoint....anyone got a copy they get send me?
ASAP? Not sure if it's emailable as a zipped file or whatnot. Just wondering if anyone has the full version, not viewer etc. Cheers- Oh dear
