  1. Old dyslexic had a farm, Q Y X P H ;)
  2. Good man. I think they look great. True twin DIN HUs look really nice and add some quality to the interior. I am considering also getting the 99-spec illuminated window switches, but I think MJP could supply those as they are not aftermarket. We'll see.
  3. Righty-ho, not sure if anyone remembers/cares, but a few years ago when I had my old Rays/Volk wheels, one centre cap was missing. Managed to find one on the Japanese yahoo auctions and got a Japanese chap in the US who runs wheelchoice.com to bid and send it over to me. Well, I've asked for his help again in getting hold of the double DIN centre console for the Z32 meaning I can fit a true twin-DIN headunit. Fingers crossed this will work. Z32-Zone don't ship internationally, but wheelchoice send things internally in Japan before shipping them overseas. Unfortunately, the part is £120!! But I think it adds a nice finishing touch to the interior. Updating it without looking too aftermarket. Looking at buying this. Currently have a JVC 2 DIN setup which looks quite old and of course, it's JDM, so no RDS on the HU and it has a tape player!!
  4. WTF!!?? That spoiler looks vile on a Z...never seen a Rolls Royce Silver Cloud with one!
  5. I can see where the stylist got their idea from, I must say, was pretty accurate.
  6. Just fit a nice bodykit to compliment that lovely blackboard finish paint you've always wanted. Wrong colour, right finish. As bad as metaflake! ;)
  7. Plus another £1k+ on Stereo and other interior oddments.
  8. Choose your mods wisely though, I've seen your taste in various threads! LOL ;) Not sure what I've spent on mine. Coming up to £10k I'd guess not including purchase price. Had mine about 2 and a half years. Cost of purchase was about £5.5k iirc. Got another £2k before I get to how I want it. That's with pretty much stock performance, just changed and renewed most other stuff. New engine, new paint, new suspension, new interior, new wheels, new additional trim/bodystyling bits. I want to upgrade the brakes and fit a brand new gearbox too. So hopefully when done, it'll feel better than it was when it was brand new.
  9. That all? Macca's and a few others on here are past the £40k mark.

  11. That's ok. Wording counts for a lot, so it's not that difficult to get confuddled. I had to double take. :)
  12. Doesn't the Z have an idle control valve controling idle? ECU ignores 02 sensor readings on idle and when throttle is fully open?
  13. I think 'Biker build off' is a program on one of the Men and Motors type channels where they build a custom bike from scratch. I think Bird saw a Z on the program.
  14. No, it's because the oil is more viscous (resistance to pour) when cold. Engine on idle produces low oil pressure. So, you've got thick oil in a cold engine with no pressure. What's it not doing? It's not getting through the oil galleries properly and not getting up to the top end. Metal against metal! Oil doesn't really work until it's at operating temperature, meaning the more you just leave it idling doing nothing, the more wear you're creating. You need to get some heat into the oil, get it moving, quickest way to do that is to drive it gradually bringing the revs up. Obviously don't get in it and thrash the nuts off it as you'll screw the turbos up and do damage to the internals. But light driving is the best way to warm the oil up and keeping the wear low. Makes me laugh when I hear people leaving their car to warm up for 10 minutes or so thinking they're doing the car some good, when in actual fact, they are doing the complete reverse.
  15. I hope no one reading this starts their car up and lets it idle for 10mins before driving to warm the oil up. It's as bad as not letting your turbos cool down. Get in and drive it, just don't bring it on full boost until the oil is at operating temperature.
  16. Yeah and it should stay on the blackboard!
  17. No you're not, you're just easily led!
  18. HIDs. It's the middle of winter. You'll reap the rewards more than the other two at the moment.
  19. LOL. I kinda guessed that. Just wasn't sure who it was referring to.
  20. Who's 'our lass'? Sister of gf? Hope she does get commission!
  21. Looks like the front bumper is from an FTO. Mess of a car.
  22. Ugly and totally out if proportion. Looks cross eyed and retarded from the front. Certainly more ugly than the standard Supra. Looks like a boat.
