  1. Ruins the lines? It sits closer and is less noticeable than the skeleton framed original! Coming from someone who's taken away the most distinctive feature of their car and put a fibreglass bodykit on theirs, that's hilarious! You've just made my day! Jap and French muscle? LOL...well, maybe that might have something to do with your imaginary VG30DETT powered Espace!
  2. You have the older one from the late MK1s. I've just fitted a MK2 and had the wipers laid out together the reach and size is the same, although on the curve is in a different place, but the actual position and length of the wiper is identical. Sweep area remains totally unchanged. :)
  3. Yes, but I haven't done it. I am merely asking a question.
  4. Sarah, why are you getting your knickers in a twist? I am sure that comment is aimed at me. I asked why someone chose that spoiler as I've never seen it before. On a side line, you're a quick one for making comments too. FTR, I like Syko's car.
  5. Well just go to one of the Z breakers. I am sure you can pick up a good carpet set. Mine's done around 60k and the carpet still looks like it was just manufactured. I am sure mine's not the only one with good carpet. Is yours really that worn/tired looking?
  6. There are enough decent carpets about over here surely. Mine looks like brand new. Regarding the mats, get them from here... http://www.carmats4u.com you can design your own. I'm getting black mats with dark grey piping.
  7. Sorry, I meant Syko's.
  8. What made you choose that spoiler?
  9. You mean 'Jimmer'. Can't hurt taking it to him for a checkover. He has conzult iirc and knows how to use it/interpret the results.
  10. I do like that wheel. Not one I'd choose but I do like it. Nice to see that the metal bits aren't chrome. A brushed type material is nicer. :) I am wanting to get my Momo Daytona now :D
  11. People that sit in the middle lane overtaking NOTHING People that have no idea how to drive round a roundabout correctly (about 90% of the UK driving population) People that drive along with their windscreen wipers on when it's not even raining. People that drive along with both their wing mirrors folded in. Chavs Racists People that walk along in public that think it's cool to spit and flob on the floor. People that discard litter out of car windows/throw it in the street. People that turn their car on and leave it idling for ages thinking they are doing a good thing pre-warming their car before they drive off.
  12. If I can drag the woman along, then I might pop by to have a watch.
  13. NB. Title should be 'Spot the difference'. ;)
  14. One of theeeeeeee ugliest kits. It's as bad as the Veilside stuff IMHO. That kit's for people with a strong desire to bolt MDF shaped products to what is a beautiful car. There's someone on here that actually wants that kit on their car! Each to their own, but they must be related to Stevie Wonder.
  15. Well, it's arrived in the UK, not bad going considering I only ordered it towards the beginning of last week. It then had to go to a holding place in Japan before being shipped onto me. Pretty speedy to be honest! Pretty harmless, but quite expensive doing it, but I'll get some more stuff sent over I think. :) Wonder how much I'll get stung for tax/duty!
  16. Surely adding track will magnify camber measurement. I do want to keep a bit of neg camber as it aids handling, but as you can see, mine is off quite a bit and there's a noticeable increase in tyre wear on the inner parts of the tyres. Plus front wheels need spacing out. Can't wait to fit all the new suspension.
  17. I touched the kerb with my rims just after I got back from California last year. Stupidly, after drivinga LHD car for 2 weeks, I got straight back in my Z the day after I got home, my spacial awareness was all to pot and sssccccratch!! The Z32 is not the narrowest of cars and I was just driving slowly down a narrow lane. Not a ball ache really as they are polished rims, the lips just needed feathering back and polished up on a buffing wheel.
  18. Totally agree with the above! Although you can always use a fog light to see when you're in reverse. What I've done on mine is to have 2 looms in the back. One of my reversing lights is converted to a fog light. Well, I never go out in poor weather conditions and I've never used it in nearly 3 years of owning it. So when its not at the MOT station, I swap over a bit of loom and a bulb holder so that I have 2 reversing lights. Looks a little poo when reversing with only one light on and is far more useful having double the illumination. When MOT comes around, I just refit the fog light loom. All my other rear light remain unaffected. I like the way the stock light illuminate. Looks really cool. The nicest feature on the back of the car IMHO.
  19. You shouldn't get buffer trails if you do it correctly. You won't really with an orbital anyway only rotary.
  20. Doesn't matter what size the lip is really. You need to work out what offset you're running.
  21. Remember to wax AFTER you polish else you'll find it turning faided again. Meguires is good stuff, I'd look at getting the 3 stage deep clean kit. Get an orbital buffer from Halfords and get polishing!
  22. No I haven't yet mate. I really need to rebuild the suspension first and have all the camber set before I can decide. My current springs have sagged a little bit and therefore I have more noticeable negative camber. Once I've finished fitting my new springs/shocks/adj. tension rods and camber arms I'll be able to work out what I need. I'd have yours with a flash if I knew exactly the right spacers I need.
