  1. The best way to let the turbos cool down is to drive off-boost for the last 5mis of your journey. Much more efficient way of cooling AND better for the car.
  2. Funkysi replied to Yowser's topic in Events - UK
Midlands is his area. Hereford is in Herefordshire strangely enough. LoL.Not Avon, Somerset or Gloucestershire. But he's close enough to Gloucestershire to go to the meets.
  3. I wouldn't even bother with one on a turbo car. Far better to drive the thing off-boost for the last 5 minutes of your journey rather then let it sit there idling for ages.
  4. Never really had a problem insuring my import. When I first bought I think I paid £400 fully comp and 3 years on, it's still £400. (unlimited mileage too!)
  5. I think he might be one of those saddos that leaves his running and gets 'respek' from his m8s as it auto-shuts off. He may had fake dump-valves too.. :wack:
  6. Heavy rain now forecast all weekend. :(
  7. With grey rear spoiler. Near Fratton Park. Looked like a 2+2 TT. Woman driving it.
  8. Save your cash with the turbo timer and put it toward a better boost controller. Driver intuition and forward planning is better for the engine than a turbo timer.
  9. No, the depth between the ident or swage line is deeper. You can see by the lack of room between the base of the bumper and the exhaust.
  10. The rear bumper is much deeper than the stock one. Looks similar but isn't which is why I like it. The 'Cobra' bumper was an alleged copy that someone made of his bumper which Zcentre then started selling. He had no licence or patent agreement on it, so just had to sit back and watch. There's a thread about it on here somewhere.
  11. Arrrrr, the Twin Z of Peru! He's designed and built all of his bodykit. They are a spin-off of the Kaminari skirts. Whilst I don't like the front one bit, the back and sides look really good.
  12. Does nothing for me.
  13. Weather is looking to be fookin' shiiiiiiite for Sunday, so keep your eyes out for a black Seat Leon!
  14. LOL! Maybe it was used as the stage and got trashed.
  15. I'd never admit to having an Allegro owning friend! Does it have the quartic wheel? LOL I hope you've nicknamed it 'The Flying Turd'!
  16. What he might mean I guess, is that it might be one of only 6 brown ones (original colour). Can't remember the name, it was some funny pearlescent colour. southwestZ's Dad had one that colour.
  17. I know there are more than 6 in the UK. I was being sarcastic. ;) There's probably about 15 people on this forum who have one.
  18. PMSL! Happy Clappers make me laugh. Is that Wayne Rooney doing the funky-chicken across the dance floor?
  19. Who's he trying to kid? Is that information as old as the car? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nissan-300ZX-RARE-Convertable-1993-K-Series-2-Full-MOT_W0QQitemZ230303987740QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item230303987740&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2%7C65%3A7%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318
  20. Correct. Power remained the same too.
  21. It won't be. 330 odd bhp.
