  1. Yup. I went last year. The lagoon is absolutely stunning. Olu Deniz is it a bit 'packagy' itself with all the turks trying to flog you fake designer shite. But because it's in a world heritage site, there are no high rise blocks of hotels or anything. It's quite small, but a nice place. Wonderful scenery and if you get a chance, go paragliding. We went in early May, which, IMO, is the best time to go. In high season the place is rammed and too hot. The blue lagoon had very few people on it and it was a really peaceful place to be.
  2. Each to their own. Not keen on that unless you're going wide arse. :)
  3. Noooo don't do that. I've seen it done and it's not a nice look. The Z needs that recess to kick the back end up. Plus, do you really want all that filler in the doors?
  4. I dunno. I'll have to try this one first. I'll rewire it if the need be. I am not sure what's involved in retrofitting CC. From what I can remember, it's not too difficult.
  5. Make sure you get the rockgaurd smoothed on the rear bumper when it goes in for paint! :)

  7. I've just bought it. Only about £12 incl shipping!
  8. You can. Most have it standard. Mine is a manual and it has it. It's just been disconnected. All the wiring and control box is still there, just need to refit a switch panel.
  9. I've posted up many threads regarding what to do about refitting CC to a Z with an aftermarket steering wheel. I have never liked the original wheel. One of the few things I dislike about the Z32 was its dated bus sized wheel. First I went down the route of looking into fitting the SRS equipped Zs CC stalk. This turned out to be a bit of a failed idea as, whilst researching and doing some measurements, found out that the SRS equipped Zs use a longer steering column with a different column shroud. Needless to say, none of it would have fitted unless I'd have swapped out the column. SOD THAT! I moved onto relocating the buttons that would have come with the old steering wheel. There are few places in the Z's cabin that would A: Accommodate it somewhere that looked 'factory' and also, somewhere that would be within easy reach. I had thought about mounting it at the top of the lower dash panel (above the driver's legs), cutting a section in it and flush mounting it from behind, but that would restrict the areas that I could neatly install an old-skool EBC. Moved onto the option then of looking at sourcing another CC switch panel from another car. With the hope of finding a stalk or a switch panel of a different size/shape meaning I could fit it somewhere 'factory'. Went on US Ebay, the obvious choice and came across an early Maxima CC switch panel. Now, this panel has similar button design to those on the switch panel for the Z32 and I'd imagine would employ a similar connector behind it. This is designed to screw into the steering wheel on Maximas, but I'm thinking more along the lines of cutting out a small profile in the column and mounting it just forward, of the indicator stalk. So it sits neatly in the cut profile and would look like an OEM fitment part. It might just work!
  10. No, I have an o2 sensor that's out. It'll just run a little more rich. I have 2 new ones for mine. You're welcome to have the one that works...whenever Jimmer can spare a morning. :) Mind you, yours is an auto. So might be something completely different.
  11. That's odd. The it wouldn't have been the det sensor. I would have traced it and got it sorted. Probably crappy wiring post sensor. Sorry, just a thought. What's your TPS set to voltage-wise?
  12. Did you replace the small det sensor loom?
  13. Didn't you just have your engine out? Wondering why you did a det-bypass in that case?
  14. I've done that to a rabbit. Saw one writhing around in the road after a previous collision with another car. Turn my car around, and just drove over it to finish the poor bugger off. It would have died anyway as it was completely fecked.
  15. PS, get some MT90 for the gearbox. Not cheap, but good stuff.
  16. It may see you off up to about 60....or at least keep to you (if you have a stock Z). Wack some boost jets in for the day and see the other side of the coin. :) The Z isn't about the quarter mile. You can get results if you tune them, but where the VG comes into its own is mid range. Out on the road power. 1/4 mile has never interested me. Unless you're interested in traffic light grand prix, then I wouldn't bother.
  17. Course they do! It's from America! Their small size is our medium and they go all the way up to XXXL! I ordered small.
  18. Just ordered! That's a tenner shipped to the UK as well! Fookin bargain!
  19. Judging by the state of the rest of the car though, would you think that any of it would be fitted to a particularly high standard? The entire car looks like a steaming pile of horse shit and I wouldn't go near it with yours! :p Wheels are cheap, although quite nice, just not on that car. Worth only as a breaker IMO.
  20. ...what do you reckon? I think they're cool.
  21. I have a Japanesey best mate. ;)
  22. They aren't on DTA or Smithys anymore. I am sure they are though.
  23. Thanks everyone. :) Not sure if you can actually get these anymore. I've had them in the glovebox for 3 and a half years now.
