  1. Ugly though aren't they. They look very agricultural.
  2. This is how I plan on mounting it. It will be slightly obscured by the indicator stalk, but should still be visable. I will cut a profile out of the column shroud and will mount this there so it looks like it was a factory fit component.
  3. Hmmmmmmmmm, might send in some piccies. :)

Got the pass. Thanks mate. Weather is looking horrendous for Japfest. Heavy rain forecast for Friday through Sunday. Hope it won't be a washout.
  5. Can we get you a tuned decision maker instead?
  6. Could be a number of things...and it's hard to diagnose on the net. What colour is the smoke? can only really advise on getting a compression check done to rule out any blow by.
  7. 'Spent a lot of time and money'. On what exactly? I've seen resto projects, but that is something that looks like it needs an entire new floor! Not even worth it. If I was doing a 240/260, I'd be on the plane over to Arizona or California. Would rather have a decent body to start with. Mechanicals are easier to rebuild than body.
  8. Mate, you have a tiny knob! :wack:
  9. Best knob by far is the stock knob. Nicely weighted and when new feel nice to the touch. Got mine from the states (new OEM) for $50 which is very reasonable considering Nissan UK want something close to £100!
  10. Certainly a pretty car. But I reckon it'll be quite small and won't have the road presence it deserves. The Elise never had much in the way of road presence as much as it's a great fun little car to drive. Still can't beat the Esprit V8 (one of the prettiest cars ever made IMO). My favourite Lotus of all time along with the Lotus Carlton.
  11. Got bored and bought a new pair of side cutters. :) Please excuse the dead flies!
  12. JDM Style one (without running light). These are mine previously (with filter removed). They look nice, but even these don't match the lense pattern of the fog light. JDM Style two (with running light and different defuser patern....note larger running light section to other JDM style) You can get these from Australia which are the same as the above, just without the orange filter. But they are quite expensive. $140 AUD each. That's £70 per side!!.... The only other option is the crystal clear ones and I don't like those as they don't match the fog light lenses at all!!!
  13. No, that's a recent pic. I changed my indicators to series 2 ones (different diffuser pattern and a running light). The reason I did this was after one mysteriously came off whilst I was driving. Ordered some more from AndyZ and they were these. Unfortunately, and I've tried, the series 2 indicators are too small to be able to pop the orange bits off and break them up. I've ruined one indicator trying to do it. The only other option is to put them in an oven, heat them up, seperate the base from the lense and pull the orange filters out that way. Again, I've tried this and haven't succeeded.
  14. Hi tack double sided tape. Got rid of both brackets. My front is held on this way too. No messy bolts. :)
  15. That's the A'pexi one. I have that. Didn't find it to hard to remove. You don't really notice any performance increases. It's more of a complimentary mod. It just feels like the engine is breathing more easily. You can hear a bit of wastegate chatter though!
  16. Fancy plates as above. You can get them to cut it to fit the measurements you gave them. Plain plates with no borders, holograms or silly graphics/slogans look cleanest. Here's mine. :)
  17. No offence to StellaZ as it's well priced, but it is 5 times the mileage!
  18. Worth returning to stock with that mileage on. Those lightbrows are hilarious...aren't they Issac!
  19. The following are hideous and should be removed and thrown into the River Humber... Vile front bumper, neons (sad as feck), bic-disposable-razor-look rear spoiler, ugly wings, stupid b-pillar cover, nasty blue trimming and ghey steering wheel, crossover thingy just slapped onto the interior trim, pedals, How can anyone call this acceptable? Having crossovers on the outsides of the door cards is bad enough, but this....this is just poor, very poor. But looking at this and the state of the centre console, I am not suprised the ICE is fitted so badly. ...and what's with the white centre bit!?? Where did he get that wonderful idea from?? The wheels aren't that great. Poor fitment and not staggered, looks like they were picked up second hand from a guy with a FWD car. Not too fussed on the rear bumper or skirts. Bonnet is rather 'meh'. If all that was sorted, it would be nice as I love the colour and it's got some decent bits on it underneath all the shite. Odd that it has a miserable stance since the previous owner has fitted some expensive suspension bits. Sits like a bloody 4x4! Never seen it spelt that way before!
