  1. LOL! What do you do whilst doing that job? Pop in the house to make the Sunday roast?
  2. Yup. I hate not having things working. Once you've taken the dash apart the first time, it's so easy to pull it all apart the second. I could probably take out and refit the clocks in about 10 minutes now. @ 8ace, took me about 35 mins the first time I did it. It's easy enough to do. 2 screws holding the binnacle on, this then pulls off. Unscrew the pod switches (2 screws each side on both sides). Pull out from bottom and up. Unclip connectors. Unscrew 2 screws inside each pod, either side. Unscrew 2 bolts at the top of the dash shroud and pull the lot away. There are just 2 screws at the bottom of the clock unit one either side. Unscrew these and the clocks are ready to be pulled out. You then have to unclip the connectors from the back and it's out. Very easy job if you do it in the right sequence.
  3. Problem identified/solved. Took off the binnacle and it appears that the connectors may have a dry joint in them rather than the clocks themselves. I had to give them quite a hard tug to initially pull them out of the old JDM clocks, so may have disturbed them a little. Wiggled them around to watch the coolant gauge flicker, so realised it was probably that. Made sure the wiring was secured. Took it for a drive up the motorway and back, over some rough-ish roads and not a single peep from it. So it looks like it was that.
  4. Yeah I have actually. Gotta take out that butt plug.
  5. They are all block connectors. They simply snap into location.
  6. Yup. I drove it around all of yesterday, no problem. Took it out again this morning to fit the new LED backlights. Refitted, all worked fine. Was just this evening.
  7. Mine are working are working though. It was litterally for about 5 minutes.
  8. Just took the Z out, didn't notice it at first, but looked down and saw my Speedo was sat at 0 and the milometer wasn't moving (everything else working fine). Turned round to take it back again and looked down and suddenly it started working again. Are there known faults with speedos doing this? I'm going to take the binnacle off in a second to check that all the connectors are snug and 'clipped'.
  9. Dude, that's just a t-shirt, you've got your entire car to fix 'taste' wise. LOTs more work than spending a tenner on a t-shirt!
  10. It'll be in your history now!
  11. STFU you two couple of FAGGOTS Thought I saw you on Japanese TV.
  12. I've seen some rubbish examples that was all. Bit like Powerflow aren't they?
  13. Depends what condition the engine and turbos are in. It's not impossible. Steve-300zx has around the 400bhp mark with standard internals. I think he's got lightweight pulleys too.
  14. James Funge has a nice one (nicest slicktop on here IMO). I am sure if you PM him, he'll give a response.
  15. Thanks for the dick! So you're looking at 2 sets of wheels? 8" wide is very narrow. Stock UK TT rears are 7.5" wide. ET40 at the front with an 8" wide wheel, or even an 8.5" wide wheel is going to look poor. It'll fit fine, but won't look very good. As for the rears. 8" is way too narrow. Again, they will fit, but they won't look good.
  16. Fronts? Back? Wheel width? You NEED to give more information. Offset means dick if you haven't got a wheel width.
  17. By fitting an exhaust better than longlife!
  18. Dude, just go on their website. It's very straight forward!
  19. Dump valves will do absolutely nothing for performance gains. I think the Leon will still give you a run for its money up to about 40. Small front wheel drive cars with that sort of power are very snappy.
  20. Yeah, SWZ had one that I was going to buy, then realised it wouldn't work on early cars.
