some pics of me noo car
These weren't available with steel wheels in the UK. But mainland europe, low-brow models came with them.

Nope, they were actually available with those wheels on the early bottom of the range ones. Seen a number of them in the UK. Who goes and buys a car like that and doesn't specify alloy wheels when ordering? Crazy! But yes, they were standard on the poverty-spec models. Mazda do the same with their low-brow versions of the MX-5.

Not nice....but I guess if you're gonna die...?
I was in Anaheim last year at Autobacs for a car show. This is pretty close in the commercial district. http://abclocal.go.com/kabc/story?%3Cbr%3Esection=news/local/orange_county&id=6879717

MOT Booked!
Suprised yours has rot in it Dave. Mind you, if it's been stood for a year and has blocked targa drain holes, I guess it's not suprising. Hope you get it sorted mate. :)

Oh no! The torture! ARGH! :smw::mac1::cry::x::nelson::wack::headvswal:(- Happy Birthday Car.Mad
That's the biggest pink French Fancy I've EVER seen! Is the boil on top full of the same creamy white substance as in the head of the smaller pink ones? :wack:- Newbie
Car looks fantastic mate! Any plans? Hope you're keeping it pretty much as it is as it does look nice. Just to get rid of the orange bits would be the only thing I'd do. (99-spec rear lights and panel, clear wing repeaters and the series 2 front indicators). I'd imagine it may have had a tap at the front as it's got a TT front bumper. Might have just been a style change that the previous owner went for. TT bumper looks nicer than the NA bumper.- Hello all, new to forum and looking for a 300zx. Advice would be helpful.
Yeah, it's not too bad. I've got a custom peice of loom I swap out at MOT time. One of my reversing lights can be used as a fog light. But since my Z never gets driven in bad weather or winter, I never use it. So take the bit of loom out so that I have 2 reversing lights again. Looks much better. :)- Install - BBK, Coilovers, etc, etc
Yeah I heard they are planning a big one with some meet up points for all the other caravans down the east coast to Carrollton. I'll be driving in with Steve from Memphis in his 350 which will be good. I was in San Antonio last year with Greavous. Shame I haven't got more time as I'd love to join you guys at Zcon too. San Antonio Z club is like the biggest chapter in Texas I believe.- Install - BBK, Coilovers, etc, etc
John, I think these shots from ZdayZ show the car off well.- Install - BBK, Coilovers, etc, etc
Why thank you my friend!....and...yeah yeah yeah! Get it fitted! ;) Will I be graced with its presence at Z nats? You still planning on going? I'm 75% set....few things to sort out.- Install - BBK, Coilovers, etc, etc
As always John, your car looks suuuuuper-f'kin-dooper! Well built and thought out car! Vuk did some cool work for you too.- Perfect Weather!
That's it, the fuel cost is as much as the ferry price! I'd cane £150 worth just doing a spirited run through Normandy!- Few Pictures from earier!

....and that's why your car keeps getting vandalised! :wack:- Hello all, new to forum and looking for a 300zx. Advice would be helpful.
SWB = 2+0 available as a slicktop, targa top and convertible. Convertible models are NA only from the factory. These are JDM cars only LWB = 2+2 available as NA and TT. TT 2+2s were the only model offered on the European market. JDM cars were badged 'fairladyZ' but the name was not used through out sales to the rest of the world....which is a good job. I removed mine. Gay name. Only colours and trim varied (like for like, 2+2TT). Engines were the same relative to the ages of the cars. UK cars were only available until 94 whereas JDM cars available until 2000. There are still some decent UK cars about, but many suffer from extensive corrosion. It's one reason I sourced the best JDM car I could find at the time and kept it garaged. Even thought I've pretty much taken the car apart, given it new paint, interior, suspension, wheels and lots of other mods, I wanted a zero-rust shell as for me, that's more important. Engines can be rebuilt, I don't want filler, patches of weld and a scabby underside. UK cars are 'apparently' cheaper and easier to insure. I have a JDM and have never had issues getting it insured and it's inexpensive to insure.- what car (estate) ?
IMO, get the Legacy estate (GT Twin Turbo). Much more kudos than the ultra common Impreza. or Mitsubishi's Galant/Legnum VR-4- If you could go back to a concert again.
Not so much of a concert, but a 'night'. LTJBukem and DJ Makoto live back to back at Nexus in Southampton.- 99 spec zed for sale
2+2s require a spoiler with complete desperation. (99-spec NA cars all came with no spoiler, it was optional only) 99-spec of course. See PhilP's car for proof. Some tan interior shots.- 99 spec zed for sale
I love the interior, but that one looks extremely shabby. It's the colour combo from the original promo brochures. If it was a TT I'd be crawling up its arse. Alas, it's not even a version S. - another change of heart
