  1. With long nose pliers and a small pair of long nose snips and LOTS of patience! I am sure you can split the lens from the base. I tried baking a pair in the oven to soften the sealant, but it didn't work. It's easy to do on series one indicators as the indicator unit is much bigger (as it doesn't have the running light in it). Series 2 indicators are a bit more fiddly as you don't quite have as much room. But it's doable. Basically, pop out the indicator, remove the bulb and holder. Punch through the orange filter, then grip the end of it with the long nose pliers and start hacking at it with the long nose snips. Eventually, you'll break it all up and pull the lot out. You do chafe up the profile where the bulb holder sits, bit you never see it once the thing is refitted.
  2. I've been promised a drive in the new 370. I got one in a brand new GT-R last year...only 3 weeks old it was! :)
  3. Yup, that's what I have. De-tangoed too....why? Cause the defuser pattern matches that of the fog lights. The crystal clear indicators look out of place and just don't match.
  4. I use 300zx.com which is huge. I know the administrator really well. Usually lets me drive his car over there. Have a 350 to drive from Memphis to Atlanta in, so that should be cool!
  5. Yeah, I am planning on doing one show op norf this year. Was supposed to have been at BZF in Missouri, but cancelled. So just Z1 this year.
  6. You can't get crystal clear fogs, only indicators which, IMHO, don't look nice.
  7. 3ZC rocks! I'm at Z1 Nationals day in Atlanta in September! :nana2::dance:
  8. You are a jammy cnut! Hopefully see you out there all going well...might take a few more years though!
  9. Humbug suit! :wack: ;)
  10. Yeah, it runs right over the top of the car! :wack:
  11. Nice guys! Can tell your cars are nicely put together! LOL
  12. Did he actually piss himself as he fell? Or had he already de-ballasted before falling?
  13. The pin stripes? Well you can buy genuine ones from MJP. I bought these about 3 years ago and they were seriously expensive. In fact ridiculously expensive for what they are. You're best off going to a sign writers and getting some cut. IIRC, they are 9mm thick and you want a graphite colour if you want a decent match. Don't simply buy a reel of black from Halfrauds.
  14. I'd forget it. No one's ****ing bothered.
  15. How skinny are those wheels!!??
  16. Christ, I certainly would fit those. Standard Z wheels are wider and I bet the offset is wrong. They'll look really really goofy on a Z and somewhat 'bacon-slicerish'!! You'd be better off getting UK TT wheels. No point fitting stuff just because they are aftermarket. Get the look and fit right first!
  17. One of the best things I've seen on TV in a while. Nice to see that there are still some good things being produced! Very interesting watch!
  18. AOL browser is the pits. Two thumbs down!
  19. Wouldn't it be better to repair your own car first? LOL
  20. They'll still smash the **** out of like they do with ALL their other bargain shitters. It'll be driven into, smashed against and generally ****ed up.
  21. Can a moderator condense these 3 separate threads?
  22. PS, that blue E46 looks horrendous! Nice car ruined! Love all the Sierras though! Nice pics!
  23. Good to see all the Z32s there....
  24. This one's cheaper though... http://www.cats-direct-shop.co.uk/two-year-catalytic-converter.php?recordID=1647
