I can remove a door card in 5 minutes, so I find it easier to do it that way.

You need to pop off the door card to unscrew and slide the old one out.

Looks ok, but I think I'd rather have something there than a rubber bung on the tailgate. Reminds me of Fiesta Populars that were so low specc'd they didn't get a rear wiper. I quite like them smoothed off though, not something I'd do as I don't want redundant switchgear, but it looks good none the less.
