  1. Have a good one! :duffer:
  2. Shame this isn't the 23rd.
  3. Oh good God! :hurl: You can't be serious! That matt black Merc especially is awful. If you do go down that route, I've got a set of chalks and a board wiper if you need them.
  4. I think silver always looks clean, fresh and sharp. You could have the centres machined?diamond cut, that would look pretty cool.
  5. I'd probably leave them as they are too. I'd just get the dummy vents filled in. :)
  6. NO! Have the centres powdercoated in a shadow chrome. A much more flattering colour/finish. Black is drab IMO. Some examples of shadow chrome.
  7. I'd love to be able to tilt the car on its side. I'd spend all day detailing it! ha! I'll just make do with a 4 poster as/when I can. :)
  8. Meh, you have all sorts of extra useless shit to go wrong on yours. Like pre-cats, 2 x o2 sensors, EGR valve etc. ;)
  9. Not as gay as your half-a-boat-bumper on your vert. :p
  10. I put the V6 engine in my old Astra convertible. I had the earlier V6 engine (which looked nicer) and fitted the cams from GSi Vectra. Same output then. Home made badge. :)
  11. I'd rather have an NA Z!
  12. Looks like a 308 from the front...ie, foul.
  13. Totally agree. It's been 3 months since all that crap weather ruined the roads and I still see almost as many potholes now as there were then. Does it REALLY take that long?
  14. Nasty! Should have given him a couple of UK rears! ;)
  15. No they weren't Z32-Zone in Japan modifies new ones. It's pretty good. I ordered it through a chap in California.
  16. Get rid of the a-pillar gauges. DIN gauges are so much nicer than the ungainly looking A-pillar gauges. If I didn't have my double DIN headunit, then without doubt, if I had a spare DIN slot, then it would have gauges.
  17. ...you don't need to take the valves out to have the heads skimmed, but you may as well take them out and lap them back in. Infact that's essential.
  18. Then why are you asking about sanding down the faces on your heads? You can do it on the block to remove any old bits of gasket. Iron obviously being much harder and more dense. But you're better off with a scraper.
  19. Yeah, might work on an old pig-iron A-series engine!
  20. Skimmed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't even think about trying to deck your heads by rubbing them down with sand papar! You have no control over tolerances. Christ, it's only about £150 per pair to get them done, the price of 2 tanks of fuel!
  21. I wasn't responding to you!
