ENGLAND! why do put ourselves through it!
I had a cracking drive earlier! Some really good empty roads from 3pm onward. Ended up driving past the Glastonbury Festival, then up over the Mendip Hills before coming back down via Cheddar Gorge then stopped off at my parents' house for supper. Fantastic weather, great scenery and the Z performed excellently...and Button & Hamilton were both on the podium! Excellent day! Sod the football! :duffer:

Bodykit. Any pics on a White Z
One of the few kits I'd ever fit to a Z. Very very few aftermarket bodykits suit the Z (that are available over here)

Does someone have a picture of...
Yeah, mine did have one. Took it off when I had the car painted. There's no need for one if you're going to stick it on. I don't like screws/number plate holders on the rear. Untidy and unnecessary.

volk racing alloys (what are they worth)
They aren't worth anything on here. 225 tyres? Damn! Stock UK wheels are wider than that.

Welding on a number plate holder? Why do you want to waste your time doing that? I don't even have one.

Ordering from Z1 motorsports
Yup, they're good guys. I know them personally too and they run a great business. Not sure if anyone from here has ever been to their premises in Atlanta, but it's heaven for any Z enthusiast. :) I've never had a single problem when ordering from them.

How can i have been so stoopid!!
Like I said, over 100 is NOT an instant ban, it's a misconception that it is. A ban is advisory/recommended by the courts based on circumstance. It's not automatic and it's not instant. This is why you go to court to plead mitigation. If you have good grounds for mitigation, the courts may decide not to issue a ban. It's advisory that they do, but they can decide to exercise leniency if they feel that a ban would be disproportionate to the offence, for instance, if you were disabled, require you licence to fulfill your job (lob loss), other dependants. If you're doing over 85 in a 60 or over 97 in a 70, then it's generally an automatic court summons...regardless of whether it was 100 or not.

If he was in a 60 zone, then he'll still be at the point of having a court summons if he thought he was doing around 100. Imagine that would be around 90mph true and anything over 85 in a 60 zone automatically gets a court hearing.

Those tricks do NOT work anymore and if he wants as good an outcome as possible, return ALL documents as SOON as you recieve them. That is imperative! If you get shown up in court as handing your documents/NIPs back late, they'll throw the book at you!

ride height
Depends whether you kept the same rolling radius or not. If you factor that in, then no, ideally you'll have the same ride height.

Multiple Zed Owners
I'd own more than one Z if I had a double garage and my driveway wasn't full of Passat.

V-Power...
...I will add though, that US rated fuel is different in terms of measurement. They rate their fuel in Octane, whereas we rate ours in RON. 91 Octane in the US is the equivelent to our 'higher octane' fuels and are of good quality. Z32TTs with uprated boost levels run more than happily on this stuff. You have 89 and 87 octane which are cheaper varients. 89 being similar to our regular 95RON fuels and 87Octane used for regular lower powered/4 cylinder/higher mileage/older cars.

V-Power...
Totally agree with the above! Since I only use my Z at weekends in good weather, I rarely put more than about £20 in of higher octane fuel unless I'm going on a jaunt to France. I see no point in brimming it for it to sit in the tank festering away reducing RON.

V-Power...
Aftermarket fuel is no different from regular forecourt fuel. Sainsbury, Tesco, Morrisons and Waitrose all buy from the big fuel producers, such as Esso, Shell, BP etc.

V-Power...
You won't really notice it on the NA. Ideal for TT engines to prevent det on boosting.

How can i have been so stoopid!!
Yes, that could be enough to avoid a ban. Your mitigation is the fact that you require your car as you are disabled. The court could argue that you should have known this when committing the offence, but they might show leniency on the basis that you have an unblemished driving record. IMO, it would go one of two ways. You'll get a slap on the wrist, 6 points and a hefty fine, or you'll get a short term ban. Don't plead with the magistrate for either, just plead for your licence and present your mitigation in a remorseful way. They will then decide what is proportional the offence under your circumstance. You might get lucky and may not even hear anything. But the Truvelo cameras are digital, so the likelihood is, you've probably been caught.

It's not an automatic licence looser and because this is your first offence, if you do get a ban, it's only likely to be from between 20 and 50 days. But the court will take into account your driving history, weather and traffic conditions at the time of the offence and the location. TBH, sometimes it's better to get a short ban and avoid points....as if you get busted for totting up, then you're looking at a 6 month ban. All that could take would be for 2 minor offences over the next 3 years. Do you have any mitigation? IE require your car for work? Have any dependants? On a 60 limit, I think if you get clocked at going over 85 miles an hour, then it'll automatically go to court. If doing 70, then it's 97 I think.

How can i have been so stoopid!!
This is why I asked!!!! It could have been a dual carriageway, or going onto a dual carriage way, or had a central overtaking lane. I don't actually know the A1, which is why I asked.

Nope, I've always used Elite car care for my stuff.

Can I be fined for this?
I am sure if it comes to that you have reasonable mitigation, if the Tax disk hasn't actually arrived yet, you don't have a tax disk to display. You've paid for your tax...
