  1. Do it, whilst you're doing it, get stuff like the PAS pot done (to get rid of the green) as well as any other assorted metal engine parts/clips/whatever. :)
  2. What parts are actually worn on yours then. I'll rephrase, what gears feel worn, or syncros feel tired? It's not always a necessity to replace all components.
  3. Nice one mate! Shall be one of the nicest on here before very long! Nice to see. You thought about getting the arms shot blasted and powdercoated black to save on costs?
  4. It's the ONLY one with CC buttons on the wheel. It'll be out of a series 1 to 3. Airbag was optional on series 2 onward and standard from Series 4. Any cars with airbag that came fitted with CC had a stalk rather than buttons on the wheel. I 'might' be selling them over Christmas as/when I get some 19" BBS LM. There is a bit of a queue building for them though! :)

Then get new silver ones. They will be fresh and neat. It was just some advice that was all. Your car is no multi coloured drift wagon. It's a very clean looking silver Z and personally think that adding bits of colour here, there and everywhere will detract from the car The exact same thing is said for engine bays. The best engine bays have neutral colours. But consist of black silver and chrome....if done like that, it's soooo pleasing to look at rather than having different coloured hoses and stuff everywhere.

There isn't now obviously, but there will be when you put blue lug nuts on it! Silver nuts will look so much more clean and slick. When you look at the car, you want to see the car overall. More pleasing to the eye.

They look gay....so do painted calipers. Keeping colours to a minimum/neutral is much more pleasing to the eye...besides, why draw your eyes to something as dull as lug nuts and stock calipers. You want the focus to be on the car overall, not having your eyes drawn to ruddy wheel bolts!

Half of which appear to have fallen out. :wack:

Why the fluck do you want blue lug nuts? Get black or silver ones. Coloured lug nuts are horrid. My lug nuts have been fine in the 5 years I've had them on the wheels on my car. They are just regular slim-line bolts.
  11. That's cause you're logged into your google email account and the rest of the forum aren't! :wack:
  12. Red cross, red cross, red cross, red cross, red cross, red cross, red cross, red cross, red cross, red cross, red cross, red cross, red cross, red cross, red cross, red cross, red cross, red cross, red cross, red cross, red cross, red cross, red cross.
  13. Snap!! Infact, that's the ONLY time my Z has failed an MOT!
  14. Yeah.....cause Borat's got taste.......
  15. Bearings do go on them, but it's not a regular thing. I've only had one bearing become noisey in the 6 years I've owned mine.
  16. He is Mr.Vague... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=80462 LOL
  17. If you listen to the audio, it actually says he's replacing the wiper arms and scuttle panel. Nice one! :duffer: Silver/chrome/polished wiper arms look terrible. Will look great with nice new bits there. Nice and fresh.
  18. You gonna get the wiper arms painted and a new scuttle panel?
  19. I actually think that it's good that an older person is a Z enthusiast. It's a nice age spread with the Z as it appeals to such a broad spectrum of people. IMO, having older guys interested in the car gives it more appeal. Just in the same way as you see older guys driving classics and other sports cars....ie you don't tend to see them in hot hatches and such like.
  20. Very very peerrrrty! Just some detail to sort and it'll be absolutely spot on. :)
