  1. That sentence was sarcasm ;). 1 meter is quite a lot of length! As for the VK56, they are detuned. A remap pushes it over 400bhp with nearly 500lbs ft of torque. Plus they sound excellent! I'm quite liking the facelifted Qashqai and I love the older Murano....but the rest of the Nissan range, apart from the 370 and GT-R leave me completely and utterly disinterested. The Pixo and Note just look like geriatric Malaysian shopping carts, the Micra looks like a frog that's taken more steroids than Raoul Moat and I've already look at the Joke...and looked away again very quickly. There are only so many crossovers/ugly shopping cars you can take from one manufacturer. It's a shame they are all from Nissan.
  2. Actually, I tell a lie. They both use a version of the F-platform, but that's about as far as it goes. :)
  3. Titan is twice the size of the Navara! The two use completely different chassis, engines, drivetrains everything. The Titan has a 5.6 V8...your ugly little dishwasher has a......4 cylinder diesel. :wack: ;)
  4. Subjective, but that Titan is cracking! Better than the hideously angular and disproportionate Joke..sorry, Juke. ;)
  5. It's a real shame we don't get some of the North American or Japanese Nissans. I know there's not the market for them, but I had one of these when I was over in the States last month. Nissan Altima Coupe. The new Maxima is pretty nice looking too for a saloon car. Titan  What do we get over here??? :(
  6. When did you last go to spec-savers mate? It's one of those cars you'll definitely find in one of those 'Ugliest cars' books in years to come!
  7. Damn that's ugly! Did Stevie Wonder choose the red detailing inside to match the....oh wait..... nothing else on the rest of the car.
  8. Me = fail! One too many Os!
  9. What on earth is not to understand? Welshy's car is stunning. Can't wait to see it with the new trim and the rest of his plans.
  10. In reference to Alanz's silver wiper arms.
  11. No, get a spoiler for the tailgate. The 2+2 needs a spoiler to balance it out IMO. I had smooth on mine for a while and hated it. Something subtle is all you need. I've been saying for years that Nissan got it right, straight out of the box.
  12. You need to go into your account to change the costs of your postage. Then when you list the item, your standard rate will be the one you've indicated in your account.
  13. Nice. Get some pics up after it's had a good valet. :)
  14. Nice and a ruddy bargain! Please don't tell me you're gonna stick one of those ironing board spoilers on the back!
  15. I can't believe he actually fitted that ruddy thing in the first place! At what point did you think it would improve the car? :wack: Glad you've seen the light. Smooth nose panel too and you're sorted. :)
  16. Dan, your car is looking very sexy these days.
  17. Cost of part from US + Cost of shipping + VAT + Duty would probably be the same or more expensive than simply buying from a main dealer....or MJP.
  18. Not sure why anyone would want to copy that steering wheel. :wack:
  19. Did you pull the rubber tags from the bottom half through the holes of the top half? Is the base of the lower rubber deffo secured (not just to look at) to the lip on the tx tunnel?
  20. Yup. They sometimes become seperated from each other or from the locating bead around the top of the tx tunnel. Check both and also see if either have split.
  21. You have checked the gear shifter gaitor? I know they tend to make 2nd and 4th audible, but might just want to check that anyway. 3rd and 4th are on the same shaft iirc. So you might just need to get bearings. It's the 5th gear syncros and bearings that cost the money. Jimmer might be able to put in some new bearings on the shaft for you...might be worth giving him a call. If it's just those bits, then it won't be too pricey.
  22. Just get in touch with JeffTT and ask for the plastic yellow rod connector clip. They are a common failure. He should have one from a breaker.
