Just finished watching it actually. I have to say, it was one of the funniest. Clarkson's escapades in the Reliant Robin had me laughing so hard, my stomach hurts and my eyes are still streaming. Not laughed quite as hard as that for a good few years! :bow:

I am sure someone can donate you a set of use good TT disks. TBH, an auto TT with no MOT or Tax won't be worth much I'm afraid. :(

Black or silver with silver edging on the disks. Other colours IMO are garish. Stock calipers especially are not attractive. No need to have your eyes drawn to them by painting them blue, red, yellow or whatever. Nice clean look is the best way IMO. It's the same reason that if I was going for a big brake upgrade, I'd go for a set of AP calipers or something that are non intrusive neutral colour. SOOOO much more easier to the eye. The same goes for the car overall. Keep colours to a minimum. Makes for a much more pleasing overall picture.

The corner markers are not even in the MOT, so you can do whatever you want with them. The stonechip on the bumpers takes quite a long time. Well, the front does anyway. I have the original front that I had smoothed. The sides are piss easy as it's basically a bitumen stone chip protection, but the plastics are moulded that way. It takes time and you need to be careful not to go too hard at it with the sander as you'll very easily give yourself lines and low spots.

Yeah, I know where Rennes is. Don't ever drive into the centre of Rennes, you'll never get out of it! The signage is horrendous! I know the area, so you don't have to tell me how excellent the roads are. Why are you going to Roscoff though? St.Malo is about 45 minutes from Rennes, Roscoff is about 2 hours. I'll head over via St.Malo as there's a little cafe there that I always go to for my croissant and hot chocolate after I get off the ferry.

The best thing about the fact that England are now out of it is hopefully those bloody flags will all come down! ESPECIALLY those dreadful stick on car ones!

Sounds like some good plans! Not sure the skirts will be too chunky and out of proportion to the stock rear and 99 front....

What day are you going Jim and what route are you taking? I'm contemplating a random jaunt to France next weekend in the Z and will probably end up taking the over night ferry from Portsmouth to St.Malo. I know you did that crossing with your family last month, but can't remember if you said that you were doing that one again?
