  1. Muchos gracias Senor Smith. :)
  2. Looks ridiculous. Like something has been dropped on it and the suspension has collapsed. Hella-flush crew going waayyy too far.
  3. Pretty sure I did. I do some long distances in it. I'm of with it to Toulouse next month. Yeah, Jim's unit is no more than 10 minutes from my house. HANDY! I am thinking on going to Japan. A bunch of us from 3ZC might be going over to see Mr.K next year! - - - Updated - - - *off
  4. Agree with Steve. If you wanna go for a wacky colour, candy purple is much nicer.
  5. Reminds me of those horrible powder paints you had at secondary school. As bad as brown, if not worse. :)
  6. ......ps, studs at the back are different to those on the front.
  7. 10mm bolt-on hubcentrics? As far as I am aware, no one's ever made these? There wouldn't be enough material to secure a thick enough nut? Sure they're 10mm? Any photos?
  8. Hey Vig! Hope you're well and that you had a good time in Japan. I live in Portishead now. Not sure where I was at that SC RR meet. Think I was in the same place.
  9. Thanks Gary. Old wheels had 25mm spacers on the front. Current ones are 15mm bolt-on hubcentrics. A use a chap over on the 350z site (MWTech) as he makes 15mm bolt-on hubcentrics and they're awesome quality. You can't get them anywhere else. I have +20 effective on the front with an 8.5" wheel and a 245 tyre. Rears are hubcentric, but not bolt-on. They're Z1 spacers with NISMO extended wheel studs.
  10. Thanks dude. I'm pretty stoked with the stance now. It was the last minor tweak I needed to do to it and I'm really happy with how it sits now. Yours is actually there! Look to the right hand side of my rear view mirror, well that window line you can see behind my car is yours! lol
  11. Nope. Just folded the very top of the lip up. You can't notice it. The arch profile hasn't changed at all. No, I have stock camber (with fully adjusted items fitted) It's lower about 25mm on Tein springs. Some wheels will vary even with seemingly identical offsets. Cars vary also. If you look at the wheel, it looks pretty wacky on person, but there is JUST enough clearance.
  12. ....I'll side with Yowser. Mine is stock with new (stock) shifter bushings and a new OEM gearknob. Over the years I have driven Zs with various different shifters and shift knobs and NOTHING matches the stock feel. I know people think all I ever like is 'stock', my Z is very far from stock, but Nissan really go the 'throw' and the 'weight' of the shifter spot-on. I don't really like short shifters. They lose the fluidity of the stock shifter.
  13. ......I am now running a +25 effective on the rears now with a 9.5" width. Slight arch lip roll only which I did prior to respray.
  14. Certainly cocked that one up huh! Thanks for correcting and thanka guys! :)
  15. Thanks to my good mate Jimmer for this evening's work on my Z. Just a little bit of offset correction for the rear. When I was over at Z1 last month, I felt that my Z could use an extra 10mm, so bought the Z1 spacers and NISMO extended bolts and brought them back to the UK with me and this evening Jim fitted them for me and did a rear brake clean up and inspection, a ConZult check and a full underbody check over. Needless to say, the car was running perfectly, all the sensors, idle, O2, balance test and everything else was all spot-on, rear brake shoes adjusted, so it's all ready for the drive down to the south of France next month which I can't wait for! Thanks again Jim! 'scuse the poor quality of the pic. My phone was dying, flash wasn't working, blurred...etc! There's the remnants of Jaffa's front bumper after his offing at Oulton Park. - - - Updated - - - If you click on the pic, it corrects itself. :)

  17. As I suspected, it takes time for stuff to burn off. Give it a few more days though. If you had had any oil sat in the ICs, it really takes time to work its way through the system.
  18. ....I'm also after the gauge cluster from that car.
  19. Hi mate, Can you just check this? Not sure if you've seen it yet. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?170930-Mark-Jeff-t-tops&goto=newpost Si
  20. I have gotten into trouble before because of my expressions, so I will be constructive here. Those that know me know that this type of thing really isn't my slice of pie at all. But I think the items that work the least well are that huge spoiler and those rear lights. They don't work with the smooth elegant shape of the car.The bumper isn't my thing either, but it's the least challenging of the mix. The skirts are nice. I like the wheels and think I'd fit the original lights and a more pleasing spoiler and then get it painted. I know that's not what you want to do, but personally I think it would look its best like that.
  21. How much did you have mixed up? Whites and pearls in particular, the weighta are really sensitive to blending. If you're ordering half litres, your problem probably lies there. I'd order a minimum of 1 litre of base coat and 1 litre of pearl. You'll find the match is better. QNO under artificial light can look silvery-white. What panel did you paint? In terms of decent paint suppliers, try Brown Brothers, they're the official UK distributor of PPG paints.
  22. That was REALLY hard. I had to nail my tongue and fingers to the garage floor! It worked though! :)
  23. I.......erm......I'll keep my mouth shut I think. :)
  24. http://twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/classified/view/169583/Selling-MANY-rare-Z32-toys-collectibles-etc-RARE-STUFF.html I had no idea of the amount of Z stuff produced. Sure, most of it never would have made it over here, but this little lot is quite impressive!
