LakeZ 2014 entertainment - Midge Ure confirmed!
Probably when he used to own one..... :wack: I posted the link before your post updated on my phone and it wasn't in response to anything, just wanted to post it. :) IIRC, he had it up for sale about 5 years ago. I think it was sat for quite a number of years before he sold it. Frank Bruno owned a few of them back in the day.

Steve (z32bolt), Howard (bigh), Terry and myself are organising and attending this! It's aimed at a regional audience being in the south, but everyone's welcome! Threads will be popping up in the southern region areas - keep an eye on them - we're expecting this to be a substantial summer meet! http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?174691-quot-Simply-Japanese-quot-Beaulieu-Motor-Museum-Joint-southern-area-meet- "Simply Japanese" - Beaulieu Motor Museum - Joint southern area meet
Simply Japanese - 3 August 2014 - Joint South West / South Central / South East event! Following the success of the Haynes Motor Museum meet that I managed to organise in a week and last year's Beaulieu meet, Steve (z32bolt), Howard (bigh), Terry and myself are organising what could be one of the biggest southern meets the club has seen for many years for the summer of this year! This is aimed at the South West, South Central and South East regions, but of course, this is open to EVERYONE and we'd love to see as many attend as possible! Beaulieu Motor Museum is holding its yearly 'Simply Japanese' meet again this year - Steve did do something similar last year and got a good number there, some 30 cars - due to the anniversaries of the Z32 (25 years) and the S30 (45 years) we want to make this a joint region and multi club event and get the numbers up further! http://www.beaulieu.co.uk/beaulieu-events/club-rally/simply-japanese Other than than Japfest at CC, we really don't have much going on south of the M4 in terms of large meets. This will be a great event if you're visiting solo, with another half, or with family! We will be attending this show as 300zx.co.uk, but also hope to have support, as we often do, from the UK Zclub, 350 and 370 owners club. I have spoken with the event organiser and have arranged that we will have our own 'Z' stand, in addition, Gary is also supplying us with a new club banner. I am also proposing that we try and get some sort of blurb into one of the classic car magazines too! There is a cost, but it's very small. £10 per person, or £5 for children. TBH, that's the same price as a pub meal! Beaulieu is a great venue, the area around it is stunning, being in the New Forest, the museum itself is fantastic and there's plenty to do there for everyone - in essence, a great day out for all. I understand you get access to the Abbey, the museum and there are events for kids to do, birds of prey on display etc. If possible, later on down the line, I may try to get a pro-photographer along (my neighbour in actual fact) for those of you before the show who want to get some really good hi-res images of your cars - there may be a small cost to this also. Some photos of the Haynes meet. Here also are some photos from last year's Simply Japanese event. Here's a snapshop of the site with attractions for those that have never been before - it's vast! We aim to have various convoys to meet up at a pre-determined venue before a cruise to the event, I will post this live on other Z forums over the coming months. Hope to see you there! Please add your names to the local events section which myself, Steve, Terry and Howard will be managing and eventually they'll find their way onto here! Jimmer and I will of course be coming down from the South West area, along with Steve and Howard's region and also Terry's region. We'd love to build this event to over 40 cars as there were 30 last year! The aim would be to hit 45, the milestone of the 240z! It would be epic to make it the biggest turnout of any of the other clubs - this thread is up early to give members enough notice! :)- VG30DETT into one of these?
http://www.nissan.co.uk/GB/en/vehicle/nissan-nv200-taxi.html- Manual Gear Knob OEM?
Good job I know the guys at Performance Nissan in Duarte - California. Got my brand new OEM shift knob for $50 - the same price as those copies (which do look good I might add) and I paid no shipping. ;) Replaced the pedal rubbers too as the owner in Japan had horrible aftermarket bolt-on Razo pedals that compressed the rubbers and left strange marks on them.- How much vinyl wrap do you need for a whole car?
Pretty sure coopers-swb did this to his and didn't have any problems - lots of filler/primer under the wrap.- VG30DETT into one of these?

wHY dO I EveN CAre? :wack:- VG30DETT into one of these?
Was it the diesel or petrol version? Believe there were a 1.6 and 2.0 petrol version also. How bad DID it feel?!?!?!- VG30DETT into one of these?
 **JUST CHECKED** Even slower - 27.8 seconds. It should been illegal! Auto Express once named the Serena as the slowest passenger car in the benchmark 0-60 mph (now 62 mph) test, with the 2.3 diesel version (added in the mid 1990s) taking 27.8 seconds to reach that speed. Would actually love to drive one - I've never driven a car that slow! It would be quite an eye opener.- VG30DETT into one of these?
 Because it was so exciting, I forgot all about it! Indeed, wasn't that engine from the Serena people carrier? The one that takes 19 seconds to get to 60?- VG30DETT into one of these?
Haha! Didn't the older TX2 and 3 use a variant of a really lower powered Nissan Diesel engine? *scurries away to go and check*- How much vinyl wrap do you need for a whole car?
None! :p- timber kit panel drawings

Same as the NYC cab, albeit with a different nose cone. FWD too, so mounting a V6 engine might be hard, you'd need to find a suitable gearbox and make sure it had the right amount of space. 1.6 petrol into that - as if the current London taxi wasn't slow enough....interesting to note that that the mentality is to return to petrol power. If the capital had these and ALL buses were powered either by LNG, hybrid or electric, it would make for a pleasant break to the smog ridden stench of London streets thanks to all the diesel fumes. It is a shame that Manganese Bronze went into administration and subsequently sold to Chinese interests. Government rarely step in to aid UK companies - quite pathetic really.- A southern events for every month 2014
Steve, I'll get all the stuff up on the Simply Japanese meet tomorrow after I have spoken with Beaulieu.- Mikey Bean
That car ended up being broken mate.- What is it with a lot of Z owners these days
