99spec rear lights

I'm paying £50 more on my Zed than on my old 1.8 Cavalier Daily runabout. Mine's an import. Wouldn't buy a UK spec car unless it was in similar condition to Glenn's.

Indeed, quite a few are retards. The one I had this morning had only a few email address been copied to and from, but I had one last week and there must have been over 100 email addresses on there.

I had a Citroen BX ages ago as a daily runner and this had the same thing. From memory, I just got a long screw driver (piston end was castelated), added a bit of pressure and turned. That was all I did to wind it back in. Obviously take the reservoir cap off.

I'm getting old. I don't go out and get 'pissed'. Don't really like it to be honest and not a huge fan of larger, the odd one is nice. Had an arguement with a mate's missus last night, she can't understand why EVERY weekend I don't go out and get absolutely plastered...ie waste loads of money, feel rough and come back smelling of cigarette smoke. Pointless IMHO......

If it's a well looked after engine and not taken beyong its limits, then sure.

Agreed, it is nice to get into something that you don't have to care about like you do the Zed. I feel like I have to be 20 times more alert when driving the Zed and driving the above, can be done as if I were asleep! LOL It replaced a very tired and horrid MK4 Estate diesel. Dreadfully slow. Glenn knows as he drove it to within an inch of its life! :rofl:

Ok, so most people on here hate Vauxhall's with a passion. Whilst they are indeed, cars for the masses, they don't in themselves do a lot wrong, I have had a number of them and kinda like them. So, I now have a brand new Astra Estate 1.7 CDTi. It's actually very nice. The new MK5 is liked by most of the motoring press. It's reasonably well built, very well specced and is not bad looking as far as Estate cars go in its class. It's certainly better looking than the Focus Estate and Megane Estate. Not that anyone's interested, but here it is. At the end of the day, it's a work horse, nothing more, nothing less.

Mine came off today!! Woohoo! Had the zed out all weekend. :)

Looks nice. Think it needs some mega dished wheels now. I'm liking the black roof pillars, something I'm considering doing. Just out of interest though. I've seen this a few times. Why on earth do bodyshops prime up a car and then spray odd bits of black here and there? Is this just an indicator, so they can tell what's been rubbed back or not?

Well, it's too late for me to go now, besides, my funds are earmarked for the Zed. But considering going over next year. Held just outside Atlanta which I've been to a few times. Been yapping with a few people over on 300ZX.com. Owner of the widebody silver convertible has offered a place to stay. So might just go.

Dunno if anyone's interested. Decided to get the Zed out of hybernation today and thought I'd take some piccies from a more elevated position. Going to replace the damaged engine next month, poor thing's cutting out more times than I care to think about. Roller is on its way too as it sounds like I have a mouse under the bonnet. Just going to get lots of new bits for the replacement engine, det sensor loom, cam belt, all rollers, water pump, some new hoses. Will get the inlet coolant bypass and remove the EGR system too. Before anyone asks, the skid marks around my car are NOT mine. I'd never ever treat my car like that.

Oh no. Shame on the 300. :(
