  1. Something you need to do with your signature!!!
  2. Yeah I have heard of this. But not totally sure it's the case with mine. It doesn't look lowered, yet the camber hints that it could be. All the bushes at the front seem fine. Maybe they have sagged enough to make the camber look a little off, but not enough to look lowered.
  3. Does anyone run their Zed with these? -40mm aren't they? I've fitted H&R springs to a Cavalier GSi I had many moons ago and was grately impressed. Similar level of ride to Eibach.
  4. No, it's not on coilovers. Springs are made by 'Sprint' and they are a drop of about 1.8" Not too sure what that is in relation to MM. Maybe I want to go lower than 30mm then? Unfortunately then though, I run the risk of running out of adjustment on the rear camber settings.
  5. Here's a trick. Don't do a 140mph.
  6. Sounds like the big nut on the strut top might not be tight enough. Get an airgun on it and double check
  7. How old are the shocks? Some use standard replacements. I've heard KYB replacements are the best to go for.
  8. Scotty, that's about -60mm...maybe even -90mm....waayyy too low for me. You need some camber correction arms on the front of yours desperately. You might find it nicer to drive! :) So do people think my car is lowered? I've had a butchers at the springs when I've been working on the car and there's no markings on it. Just plain black springs. I know Eibachs are black, but these have markings on them. The ride is stiff, but it does lean quite a bit, but that's probably down to tired shockers.
  9. Check out the front of mine. It looks awful....it's too heigh and the camber on it is dreadful. With a subtle drop and some camber correction, it should make the car more beefy looking. ...but then you look at it from this angle and it looks plenty low enough. It's nothing to do with the surface, because I've had it on perfectly level ground and from some angles it looks terrible.
  10. Looks about 30 - 40mm. It'll do. :) I origianlly thought mine was lowered, but I don't think it is. The wheels sit far too height in the front arch. Needs dropping and ALSO a camber correction so that the wheels site right out in the very corners of the arches, Nothing worse than having a set of wheels with a weedy looking offset. Especially on a Zed....I need to get mine sorted!!
  11. You've finally got some new wheels! Good choice too bud. Car looks great. Less blurry shot next time!
  12. Hello. Just wanting some side-ish shots of Z's lowered 30 - 40mm Preferably on Eibachs Thanks in advance. :duffer:
  13. It's not too bad if you keep soaking the string in oil. :)
  14. Chill Winston! He doesn't want to wreck it!
  15. Nooooooooooooooo. Sad sight to see on my favourite Zed on the forum damaged. :( Hope you get it fixed up soon mate.
  16. Yeah, you need get a piece of string and use it as a 3d saw in effect and cut through the bond between the spoiler and tailgate.
  17. It's bonded on and screwed onto the tailgate.
  18. ....to add to the matter, the government have been spending millions on testing for pay per mile and doing away altogether with car tax and reducing fuel duty.
  19. No, it can't happen. The country would collapse. As Mick has said, I heard something like this about 5 years ago...back then £800 for anything over a 2.0.
  20. It's one that's been f,cuked within an inch of its life. I'd rather drive a poverty spec Ford Fiesta than be seen anywhere near that rancid blob of manatee spunk.
  21. Cheers Vin, I'll give it a go.
