Id say no Rich, it was a gimmick in my view to set the 300zx apart from other performance cars of that era im seriously considering deleting it from mine.

Told you i could smell burning rubber after your run, that and rich's turbos. The exhaust sound off on the roundabout with the scooby was class tho, one scooby v's 11 zeds , no contest really

Nice on Jeff, i think my car has this issue as well, under boost i get a two tone groaning noise from the front end. So i bought a good set of second hand recircs in anticipation of them being knackered when i strip them out. Interestingly enough i did notice that on of the small pipes was a little bent when i got them so it looks like in service there must be pressure put on this pipe from surrounding components causing it to bend. I say this because mine were corrosion free when i got them so its not corrosion causing them to give way. Im going to do as you say, ive had them vapour blasted to clean them up so will grease em up or put some waxoil on them before fitting.

We had a blast what with all the attention we got, fortunately not enough to get us arrested for some "spiirited" driving on that industrial estate, expecting the feds to turn up at any time. Would have been very funny if the RAC would have had to bring fuel out to 10 zeds out of fuel on the prom but fortunately it didnt come to that. So thanks again Eveyone for a great weekend. We ROCK. And i fixed my boost guage problem and the rough running issue on the way home, boost sensor pipe had popped off the balance bar so great result

We drove all the way back up from the mirror ball to north of the tower in 5 mins, WTF??? Good night though need fuel in the morning :-(
