  1. Used to drive past this place on the way to work, might pop over and have a look at it and report back. Steering wheel needs re trimming and the photos of the interior are dark, seats look dirty and stained to me. If its all good mechanically then it could make a very nice example but it needs work.
  2. As above good option. I use shell helix 10w40 semi synthetic purely because its a good oil and eurocar parts have it on sale regularly. I also use k&n oil filters
  3. Thought i would share this im sure mikey wont mind. Loving how his track zed has evolved along with his drifting skills. Well done mate

  6. Hi guys I'm after an air mix actuator from as late a series car as possible. It's the little box of tricks that controls cabin temp and its located on the back of the heater box. Anyone have one knocking about please.
  7. There's a definite knack to fitting and getting the right amount of rubber to bulge out over the glass top lip and press up against the t top piece to close the gap and seal it tight. Took me a couple of goes and my heat gun to get it sorted but all good now plus a little trick with a few drops of superglue.
  8. I finally fixed the leak from the t top weather strip. Must thank Jeff for his crib sheet and advice on heating and fitting the rubber ptherwise it would never have stopped leaking. Did a couple of my own tweaks and now its watertight again. Who would have thought fitting a brand new weatherstrip would be so tricky.
  9. Great start time too not to early
  10. Ive arranged to take oem scuttles over to work from and finalise the design etc so moving forward. Im also going to get the throttle cable cover done too to make a nice set. The fan cover will come later too

  14. Got a few niggly jobs still to sort targa still leaking so got to take the weatherstrip off and redo it as per jeffs instructions and the airgate actuator still needs sourcing and fitting plus wheels are booked in for a refurb soon.
  15. Im planning going this year as i bought track time last year but couldnt go. Best get my finger out and get my ticket. So come on guys lets get a club stand sorted.
  16. Just back from MOT station, Zebedee passed no advisories woop woop. Celebratory wash and wax tomorrow weather permitting.
  17. Brian these will be redone from scratch and ribs will be as close together as possible.
  18. Is this the guy with the supra Dave??
  19. Guys regarding payment, i'm at the list stage right now I have to firm things up with the manufacturer so you have some time to get some pennies saved. Once I have a timescale for manufacture ill get back to you with a date to get started.
  20. OK guys so carrying on from the discussions in another thread its clear that a few people are interested in buying a set of Carbon Scuttles. From initial discussions with the manufacturer we would need at least 5 sets to make this viable, cost per set is circa £200-£220. These will be "All Carbon Fibre" unlike others that are fibreglass with a carbon top face. So if you would like to maybe participate in a group buy please register your interest and we will build a list. I will then get the ball rolling as and when enough people have signed up. I have a pair of very good condition OEM scuttles that will be used to take the mold from so they should fit very nicely. I am hoping that the large gaps between the ribs can be improved upon too. 1.
