  9. Well i got the veilside exhaust i bought off Dan fitted at Keltech and had them fit my new 3" ams divorced downpipes as well as custom make the decat pipes to connect the whole lot up. They stripped off my old mongoose system and fitted the new stuff and afterwards i drove the car as a daily for a couple of weeks. I knew the system was louder than the Veilside Evo system on zebedee but didnt realise how much louder till i drove zeb to work last week. Well the explosion system is waaaaay louder although not as bad as i thought it would be. Its got an awesome note and you can hear the turbos spooling nicely too. All in all i like it a lot even if my neighbours dont.......ah well.

  20. You would be taking a chance on a 2nd hand unit unless it has known good history however its it's just the lay shaft bearing that's gone (hence the whine) then it could be rebuilt. You need to find a gearbox place that can strip it and inspect it for you. Refurb kits are available for bearings and synchro rings but gears are not readily available so if found to be excessively worn then a replacement gearbox is the way.
