  1. I know ebay have rules that say you shouldn't end auctions early and you arn't protected. Maybe you have some comeback on paypal though, but this is actually ebay as well I think. He's still taken money from you regardless of ebay rules so you should have some come-back somehow.
  2. When we were deployed in N.Ireland everyone was getting on faceparty in the barracks. One of my mates was being sent nearly naked photos from this girl who was from the same town that I went to school at. Turned out to be someone I knew lol, my how she'd er 'grown'. Dave
  3. Try doing some searches from a few years back when the forum was in its infancy and un-moderated. I don't think I would have even bothered coming on. There may be issues with big brother now but at least it provides a quality forum and not (usually) a load of childish mudslinging.
  4.    No more to say!
  5. If the turbo gauge isn't working then you should be suspicious as it could indicate a boost leak, although the stock gauges are very inconsistant and often don't read correctly. Not sure about the vibrations. Dave
  6. I agree with you that they should be drove the way they were designed for, its why I bought it in the first place. I love the supercar looks and all but I love the feeling of adrenelin more! However I've voted 'Give it the odd booting when no one is looking' as I have to many points to drive like Nikki Lauder! When I get the overdraft sorted I'll be doing the track days. I think a good zed is great for trackdays as sub 5k for a 3-400bhp car is extremely cheap even if you had to pay a few grand to replace the engine. Not that I could afford that, but I don't think being able to afford 2.5k for a cheapy is being able to afford to run a zed. Only problem as a track car is the fact that tyres and all are so pricey, maybe I should just get a 200sx track car??
  7. They wouldn't make any difference in themselves but are well worth getting as if there were leaks in the system it would be a major problem, and the old ones on your car probably need replacing. Dave
  8. You get a 0.7bhp increase for each sticky blob. Mine keeps falling off though so the car isn't as fast.
  9. I also agree that things should be more open with regard to un-satisfied customers. I've noticed and spoke to many other members about the big-brother feeling on here with regard to traders and their service/after service. I've had very good service off traders on here (and make it known to others) and I've had quite poor service (and havn't felt able to make it known). The word gets around the members anyhow. My missus dad is a very experienced mechanic but he still has things that go wrong so I guess its nature of the job. I don't think Ryan (or anyone else) should be judged here without being able to answer back? People only need to do a search of the old posts before the forum was properly moderated to see how bad it gets with mud slinging, and the good traders (IMO) that are not here now such as Jeff at Zedworld,Petrol Heads North West, and Zcenter. I think its in the interests of members to have an open floor re traders, but maybe its in the interest of the club to have a strong control over it?? IMO the most well managed forums in the jap scene are the skyline ones and nothing is tolerated on there that makes the club look bad.
  10. Eh?? I'll have one! edit: Blo*dy ell! just had a look, didn't know you could get free x-boxes, ipods and psp's with a phone contract!Gonna have to consider that when I renew!
  11. I'm sure some people will 'rise' for the occasion. After all it will be a very 'uplifting' experience. :slap: :slap: :mac1:
  12. That Barryboys 6R4 was the king IMO!! :)
  13. I aint got any complaints, it doesn't blow the MAF so I get to work! not as fast as with the HKS though. Need to get a twin I reckon, see if that does the trick.
  14. I'd do something straightaway jacks, even if it is just fitting a standard airbox (I've got one you can borrow if you want). I had a HKS mushroom and the same issues. I didn't bother changing it for 6mths but by that time the MAF went which cost me another £120 plus the new filter. I put the standard air box on for a few months through the worst of the rain as I needed the reliability for work. I must admit though there is a noticable difference in power between the HKS mushroom and the Apexi. The mushroom was much better in the dry, just useless in the wet. I want to get a twin apexi system like the one above. I know people seem to think the apexi are a gucci design and flow as much air but sorry peeps THEY DONT! They are so much smaller than the HKS or Blitz its no surprise. I might put the mushroom back on for a day just to test if there's any other factors, but the car doesn't seem to reach as high boost at certain rpm/gears.
  15. About time you came for a surf :) I've been in 4 times in the last week! Have to drag myself along to bluewater as well. Hope you're doing well and not too threaders at going back to barracks after being off. Dave
  16. Might not be around that weekend but if we are then I'll be there. Dave
  17. Its the best way as otherwise you have to drill a hole to make somewhere for it to go. With a sandwich plate you can just screw it in.
  18. I never knew that tip about fonts Stevie, might try that. Cheers!
  19. Not much of it but great quality .Really well done.
  20. I want it! and the garage please!
  21. Look on his rides, little car symbol on left
  22. I was going to cancel three phone contracts with orange as they hadn't helped me with a problem. They've now offerred me 500mins to any network at any time for £25 a month, and its a standard thing to get current customers to stay with them. Oh and a new phone. Winner
  23. What he said! They dropped the variable valve timing in the later models so they are a bit slower as well.
  24. He was fast around the track to, was well kitted up for trackday action: extra spare set of wheels etc, and knew how to drive a darn site better than me :-)
