  1. That looks like a serious bit of kit? I suppose he'd have an extra injector on each cylinder? Stock rad seems a bit weedy?? Must say though, there was a new oem rad on my last Zed and the cooling was better than the Koyo's etc that I've driven.
  2. Get an e30 Beemer: Cost feck all , cheap as chips to buy most parts and easy to work on. Last for ever. 300k is easy in them!
  3. Eek, never thought about weight earlier mate! Thats some hefty insurance quotes. Surely you would benefit from having someone else insure the zed under their name and get a crap car with your insurance extending to driving other peoples cars, so you can drive the zed third party?
  4. Saw a couple of Zeds roll past at Lakeside last night on the roundabouts, anyone here? I was in an e30 beemer.
  5. You guys don't understand how big a thing it is to leave the borders of Cornwall! If you drive more than 20miles to work each day in Cornwall its unusual, also there's still people who've never left their VILLAGE!!! no joke! Its not like 'the english' who think nothing of driving 50miles around london to go to work you know.
  6. I think they are original matts mate, I had them in my old Zed. I quite liked them actually, even thought they were a bit odd. They looked very posh!
  7. Car looks fooking great Vini. Much better than a GTR IMO. AWD is for fannies! RWD Rules!! Wheels are really nice as well. Those lights on the washer jets are fooking terrible though haha chav fooker!
  8. Check this out http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/231338.htm Pretty awesome IMO. Only 17k and certified. Hell of a car for the money. I bet the drive is 10 times better than the average tired Zed.
  9. If it was the MAF you can check it by unplugging it. It will then be stuck at under 2200revs (think thats how much?) as it goes into limp home mode. It will be fine under those revs, and then get jumpy and limited as it reaches the limit. It doesn't seem like a MAF from what you have described.
  10. Wish I'd seen this post a few weeks back. I got a quote on a primera one and it was the same price: over £200. I've bought a proper 300 one which comes to £270 with the engine hoses!
  11. Pmsl, how the hell can you drive that Wozzer?! There's more buttons than on my laptop! The drivers seat looks like the cockpit of a fighter plane!!
  12. Haha wtf?! is this your job Wozza? can you get it sideways?!
  13. Most likely culprit is your fuel lines on the top of the engine. I did mine last month. You only need a couple metres of 7-8mm fuel hose and its a fairly easy job. Or you can bling it up with some of smithys' stainless stuff which has the added bonus of removing some of the extra hoses. Ones to check are the little hose behind the fuel filter on the passenger side, then follow them out of the filter on the front and across the engine bay to the fuel regulator into the fuel rail (need to remove the cover). Replace as many as you can reach, including the one under the regulator that goes into the fuel rail.
  14. I really liked the little caravan lights on my old Zed!:
  15. Woh, wish I was in his position! What does he do? financial?

I'm there in the Rex with FDUK and on track as many times as I can scrounge cheap tickets form other clubs!
  17. Nah, Royal scratchies his rim on broken glass, he's that 'ard!
  18. lol at this thread haha. You should have a word with her. Its worth a blow job at least. Nothing worse than scratching your rim on a kerb (oo err)
  19. Yeah, I shouldn't be so flippant. You know she's one in a million so its a big thing to throw away seven and a half years of relationship development. We've been together about 5yrs now I think, and I've had moments when things have been rough and I felt like packing it all in but I'm glad I didn't. Woman are only interested when they can't have me anyhow! Why don't you have a chat and get a bit kinky or something (!) and try to rekindle the lust? That always seems the problem to me. Blokes want filth and women want meaningful conversations and romance :)
  20. Lol, sounds like the 7.5yr itch to me! Go out travel the world and sh*g loads of Thai whores until it itches even more, then come back to domestic bliss (but don't tell her!).
  21. There's quite a story behind that Supra. The guy who built it got completely nailed on the Supra forum because of the state of it. The workmanship is pretty shit and its proper max power with not a lot else. He's bought a Rex now and is doing a fortune wide body conversion on it. Hopefully it will look better than that heap! Can't believe it has sold twice since!!
