Wow, I'll give you a medal if you manage it. I've heard of someone managing it but I can't see how they did it? I can't see how you would have enough space to get it away and off of its mounting bolts plus you'd need inspecter gadget arms and hands to get to the bolts. Dave

Just on the same note, I had a rocker cover gasket that went that spilled oil into the V which then drained down through the bell housing on the autobox, so not always such bad news.

Cost over a grand to recon my auto box last year. Nothing else but most people stick a seperate gearbox cooler on at the same time as stock design is poor. Would never get an auto again! Manwell all the way! Dave

Haynes only did a z31 manual as far as I know. Most people have the Z32 nissan workshop manual, which is also hosted on twinturbo.net I think. You can get it for a few quid off ebay quite easily or get a copy from someone here. I can do you one in the week if you want. Smithy does brake pads ,and has them in stock, also Zedworld have them and many others. Dave

What you are saying is what I was getting at though mate. That its not the higher octane fuel that gives more power itself, but the ability to run higher boost on it before it dets. All said though I'm not an authority on the subject (although I do like having the technical discussions on the forum so myself and others can learn something from the people who do know their stuff). Oh, didn't know that. Looks like it was released as an answer to the massive popularity of firefox and MS seeing there market slice dropped. It would take a lot to make me go back to IE. I find just about everything better with firefox. The download management is very good as well. Maybe MS will improve IE with the next release.
