  1. Your car is gorgeous that colour it would be a travesty to paint it. I thought it was the same copper as the 350's come in?
  2. Hi mate If you have an electric one and a non electric one it can be converted. All you need to do is swap the covers. This is not a complicated job but is slow. You will need to undo dismatle the seats and undo all hog rings. Swapping the covers on the base is not too difficult as if you undo all of the hog rings on the bottom of the cusion under the seat you can pull the whole thing off the frame and just put it on the new one with cable ties. The top will involve removing the centre panle and the cover on the back. It took me an evening to swap covers on one seat. I had not done it before either. Give me a shout if you want some help. Ron
  3. looks awesome mate. Well done!
  4. Hey buddy with 42's I would go for a 15mm spacer at the back with 265's or 255's as that will fill the arches nicely without any clearance issues. 8.5 42 front I would go with a 225 or 235 and as Jimmy says a 15 mm spacer. Go for hubcentric spacers with lips or you will get serious whell shake and if your hubs and wheels are different sizes then spigot rings as well. Hope I'm not teaching you to suck eggs. Cheers bud
  5. Your a slave to the car mate! You love it really! I had a few beers yesterday watching the Motogp Laguna Seca re-run and then fitting my sub in the car. And I do have a hangover!
  6. Hi mate Yep I was a bit confused as well but the downpipes on my car must be shorter than yours were. I have he down pipes from tubs to decat pipes which go five bolt to three bolt. Then decat pipes which go 3 bolt to two bolt. Then you put the zorst on and its all about a foot to long? Anyhow if it means cutting the decats and shortning them thats fine. See pics attached
  7. Sounds awesome mate! As for the lack of a hangover, how long have you had these symptoms?
  8. Some awesom looking work there everyone. My favourite is Stella's. I love the fake sleeper look :-)
  9. Paul @ SWZ or Zedworld for good working Second hand parts mate
  10. Good one bud. It sounded a bit like like someone had been at it with a tea spoon! Glad you got it sorted. It is a real PITA when it goes wrong! Mine would start missing as soon as you got over about 20mph. Turned out to be knackered front wheel bearings!
  11. Hey mate No not yet. They need to cut the decat pipes to make it fit apparently? Did you have standard turbo pipes and standard decats? I have Greg Dupree downpipes. I got some 2 fast 2 cool turbo decat pipes but the guys said that they are about a foot too long for this exhaust. Its going to a specialist in Redhill to get it sorted asap.
  12. Hi mate I have just had my front studs replaced with longer ones as mine were not long enough. It turns out this was because they had been cut down to fit inside the 20mm spacers that were on my car. If you want them then I'm happy to put them in the post for you. Let me know. Cheers Ron
  13. Hey mate, yep usually down to spacers. Might be that one of your alloys is slightly out or has lost a weight.
  14. Yep its gorgeous here now. Its rained and they sky looks very moody!
  15. Good old English weather !!!
  16. Yep I was treated to a hot bacon roll! No donuts either! But I think I would rather have had the roll! :-)
  17. Hey bud Yep mines in to have the exhaust chnaged over to cybernets old on. I'm pretty excited as its bloody gorgeous!
  18. Surrey is grey, cold and raining this morning
  19. Its not just me whos up so early then!
  20. Yes I agree its a great way to keep the revs up between changes and does sound like the car likes it.
  21. Ok you lot thats enough!
  22. Hey buddy The bottom line was not the car it was the C&*ts that have been looking after it for the last 2 years. I have been caned and bent over and truly violated by them! When Jeff finally got his hands on my car it was running like a dog. So I have decided that the best way to enjoy it for me is to have it in a form that Jeff can maintain. Hence I have removed the AEM as it needs specialist tuning which does not suit me. However for someone who has the time and is happy to spend the effort it will produce and awesome machine. There was a whole load of other stuff, brakes not braking in a straight line - sorted by Jeff within a week (has been a problem for about a year and the other garage could never figure it out) Strange squeeks and noises geometry all wrong Cambelt incorrectly fitted anything you can think that has been knackered by someone who does not know what they are doing was knackered So long story short. car is now in configuration that can be maintained by Jeff and it may not be the fastest or the biggest power but its awesome, it works and its bloody quick. SO I am a happy boy, fancy parts or no fancy parts! :hyper: Thats it really, hope that makes sense, P.S. I still have some pretty fancy parts though!!!!
  23. Yes indeed they are awesome!
  24. Good decision bud! If you hadnt of bought them then I would have!
