JaiKai - MK2 - Ziggy Build
So much good work, I cannot wait to see the completed item. Plus the purple melts me! :thumbup1: I gave my spare headlights rubbers a real good deep clean and treatment with Carbon Collective's rubber restore and they came out amazing. On my other set of rubbers I used the megs rubber gloss thing, but only lasted a couple of weeks.

Show me your Knob.
That looks really good. Subtle, yet purposeful. Would look good with a shorter shaft too. Yeah, and bright purple, with non stock lip and skirts, but yeah, a lot of the mods aren't visible. However, what I meant is that it's not a stock car, so didn't want a stock knob. Mex

Blue LWB On A3
I already know it was William as we already talked. But always fun for others to see who we see in the road and we all love a rolling shot. Mex

Show me your Knob.
Ha ha. Glad we all had a knob off in here. Probably should have mentioned I'm after a little more than OEM, as the steering wheel isn't oem, and a few other things are changing in the cabin, plus not sure if you guys are familiar with my car, but it's not very oem from the outside either. Ha ha I'm not after something lairy, just thinking of something more motorsport or that would tie in well with the steering wheel. Mex

Show me your Knob.
Now that I have your attention. Ha ha I'm after some advice and aesthetically pleasing visuals of gear knobs! I have a wooden one that feels good, but doesn't flow with the look of the cabin, plus I have a short shifter to install, so wondered what knobs and shifters you all have and how you rate them? Thanx. Mex

Coilovers. Under a year old. 500 miles use.
Hey guys. My old coils up for sale. Just under a year old. Done no more than 500 miles. Selling as I bought some custom BC coils as these didn't quite go low enough. They ride great and go pretty low with comfort, but for the extreme lows I am after and aggressive figment, these weren't quite right. Paid £350 for them in oct last year and as you all can see they look super clean (and I haven't cleaned them). I'm asking £150 for them collected or buyer to pay shipping (about £30). Mex

Fitting wind deflectors
Mine is 94 and doesn't have them, not even seen holed for them, will check tomorrow and then call Nissan if mine has the holes, then proceed to empty my wallet on their parts desk and eat empty tacos for the rest of the months I'm sure. Ha ha

Weird Fan Noise?!
My AC has been deleted, so wonder how that affects it? Been too busy and not checked what you mentioned above, but weather dependant, I might rip that out this weekend. I will check the Auto/Econ buttons too. Mex

Weird Fan Noise?!
Amazing Jeff, thank you. Will give it a go at the weekend, or maybe one evening as I want to drive it more and more before it disappears for winter. Mex

Weird Fan Noise?!
Not sure, don't think so. Put a lot of hot miles on her this weekend with the fans on full speed, but noise started toward then end. I get what you are saying, guess I'll have to have a look at them. Anyone knows easiest way to get to the cabin fans? Mex

Weird Fan Noise?!
Hey guys, So today was hot as hell, so I had the fans on full on the drive back from Essex, but during the drive, the fans got really loud and I think I heard a noise. Anyway, this is the noise my fans make now.. Untitled by Mexicanfab, on Flickr Any ideas? Thank you all. Mex

Rear Suspension set up (Camber arms specially).
Ha ha, trust me, I've beeen around the block when it comes to modified cars, and I would like to think I can do it tastefully. Not going that far, but I do like to have the car set up for form over function, as realistically it's just an ornament, as it's neither my daily, or my family car. I'll get it set up a bit better over the weekend (as every corner right now is different in terms of camber/toe) and update you guys on here as well as my journal and hopefully you guys will appreciate the approach. PIc of the car and the wheels which "fit" but will need spacers after set up.

Rear Suspension set up (Camber arms specially).
Yeah and no! I can make the wheels fit fine, but that's a bit "Boring" and I'm not really into keeping it stock. However you are correct, i do probably need to run "excessive" camber to fit the rears on how I want them to fit. So my question is, apart from camber arms, have you guys done anything else? And I guess the answer is probably NO, as no one on here is running the excessive camber I am referring to. H&R always and forever. No other spacers/adapters will do. Mex

Rear Suspension set up (Camber arms specially).
Ha ha ha. Thanx guys. This is a road car, way to low, slow and heavy to go on track. But this is where I guess I'm going to split opinions. I have 2 sets of wheels I'm going to run and at the rear one set is about 20mm different, so I'm setting up for the more aggressive set up and then spacing the other one to suit. Just wanted to see people's set up and hear opinions, but I guess non of you have ran that extreme. Mex

Rear Suspension set up (Camber arms specially).
Hello everyone. So I wondered what you guys are running in terms of rear suspension set ups? As I have upper camber arms, and although given me quite a bit more camber than stock, I'm limited and my rear set up isn't level regardless of how 3 attempts to adjust the camber arms to be equal. Before I got to a garage and have the set up properly aligned on a hunter machine, I wanted to make sure I have everything I need in place to get the set up just as I want it. Poor screen grab shot of my set up for now. Thanx in advance. Mex
